    Sharp has been dead for years and became a ghost while beren was still alive my friend they can both be spirits spirit buddys, even!! I mean, that's not even considering Ryn!

    While Aerol loaded, Sharlin took a breather. Something about her middle back felt wrong where the blade had went through her, it was numb, and not hurting nearly enough. She cocked her gun again, aiming at Aerol. Her shakiness wasn't helping, but she aimed decently enough and fired.

    They had prophets there who prophesied of his coming, and the church existed in different levels of belief throughout the past before his coming. There was also a lot of destruction like floods and earthquakes there marking his death, which was a sign from their prophesies.

    (No you're good!! it's great to hear another perspective, I'm sorry I'm definitely not the person to be debating this with you lol) I guess we just believe that while he was working in the spirit world, he also took the time the time to visit the Americas somewhere in there. I want to say that we traditionally believe he goes during the 3 days, but I honestly can't remember and that doesn't make a ton of sense because they touch him during his visit . . . I don't think time is meant to be an issue because as a god he just descends in America, appears a few times there over the course of a few days, and then ascends again.

    Right, and it may just be tradition that makes me think of that verse in that context, and I may have misunderstood when it was said which is my bad But he goes after he has died, it's not during his ministry when he was only teaching the Jews. It's after, or around the same time he tells his disciples to start teaching gentiles. He leaves for the Americas when he leaves the apostles for the last time in the new testament. It is referring to the post-ascension church, and a part of that is him going to the Americas. I think? I'll be completely honest we don't study the Bible that thoroughly where I live.

    tanks lol I think the exact wording I was thinking is from John 10:16: 16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd. But this is him speaking before he was crucified, and I was thinking he mentioned something similar after he had been crucified that was a bit more context specific, but I can't remember where.

    Alright, I just thought I'd mention it. Do you think counselling would help? I know it can be really expensive, but if it's an option it might be worth looking into. Either way, I hope you find something that works well for your soon

    After Jesus dies and is resurrected, he goes and sees God to complete to work (chat I can't remember the details I'm so sorry), during that time before he returns to his apostles, he visits the other lands specifically the Americas. So it's not during his mortal ministry, it's after his atonement. When he appears in the book of mormon, he's completed the atonement and been resurrected and everything. I'm gonna go look for the verse now

    Sharlin stumbled and cried out as the blade hit her upper back, taking her completely off guard. "Damn . . . I forgot she had that thing . . ." She stumbled out of the way in time, using the proximity to take a swing at Evan with her Scythe, still using Sharuels strength. The pain in her back was awful enough that her hands would be shaky without it.

    Oh cool! For us, we separate things as doctrine, and policy. The policy is case/context specific and can change, but helps us fulfill the doctrine, and the doctrine is unchanging and what we should always do. I don't remember where, but I believe he does specifically tell them that while he was gone he was 'visiting my other sheep' which we think is his visit to the Americas, because the context implies it was to a different land and he went there on a separate trip. I think we also believe he went other places in the world (also because of that line), and we just don't have any records of it, but I'm not sure how 'official' of a belief that is. Growing up in Utah means I don't know what details are in the scriptures, and what stuff is member speculation/myth sometimes. I need to get better at my own studying, lol!

    *hugs back* *really tightly* ehehehehe Oh yeah, that's rough. I'm sorry you feel that way! I also waste a lot of time, Have you tried getting medical help at all? I know it's not an option for everyone, but sometimes getting outside help can do a lot (I sat as I procrastinate talking to the doctor about it myself . . . be braver then me )

    I personally think it'd be cool if Jesus married Mary Magdelene . . . cause I'm a hopeless romantic and I think it'd be sweet, but that's just me being silly lol! We have quite a lot of additional stuff aside from the bible, and I think we have some verses from the Bible that point to their validity, but I don't remember where they are . I'm not a religious scholar, lol.

    I totally understand! That's just how we believe it works because of some of our additional revelation we believe is from Christ.

    We believe there is a state before judgement day were you exist in the spirit world after death. This is technically still considered part of 'mortal existence' at least from what I know, even if you've already died. In the spirit world, you can repent, be converted, and receive a proxy baptism, as well as other ordinances. After Jesus comes back, everyone is resurrected and we have a millennia of peace on earth. This is still before judgement day, and still a part of 'mortal existence'. The spirit will help us complete the work of converting everyone who has died and could not receive the gospel, but are willing to now receive it. I'm simplifying things, but then, after all of that, we finally have judgement day where God judges us and Jesus advocates for us. Basically we believe that 'mortal existence' and the time for when you can accept the gospel and repent is more an era then you're specific lifetime. Essentially giving everyone who needs it a second chance, like people who never got to hear about Jesus, or children who died right after birth. At least that's what I think? This stuff is confusing and I'm not the most knowledgeable. Someone also from the church may correct me lol.
