Crowe took out another man with his axe. The rock-like sprite at the stairway was doing a fair job of holding the freelancers back, but more and more were able to slip through. It didn't matter how good of a fighter either of them were, there was just to many. He turned to check on the others, and one took the opportunity to hit him in the shoulder from behind. There were to many people up here for him to Sense it coming. The cut wasn't deep thankfully, but the spike of pain made it difficult to concentrate. "We need to find a way out of this!" Crowe shouted. "Is there a trapdoor or maybe another staircase anywhere?"

"Trust me I would love to run and hide somewhere, but we're pretty much already in the thick of it," Crow said. He swung at another soldier as he came running towards their group, weapon raised. The situation wasn't good, such a large group of enemies made it difficult for him to Sense anyone sneaking up on him.

"Yeah we'll be fine, there's only like a couple hundred of them, and . . . uh five of us, that's pretty good odds . . ." Crowe said, realizing halfway through he was just making things worse.

I would like to try if that's alright, I've played DnD before but I am not super great at it so we'll see how this goes . . . just give me a little while to come up with a character

Crowe adjusted his grip on his axe. If he did end up dying, at least he definitely wouldn't have to pay his tab at the tavern. He moved in front of Ahna as she backed up, and swung at the nearest freelancer. She was the one with the money, so she was the one he was gonna protect, even if they hadn't reached an official agreement yet. The man fell, hopefully that would be enough to deter him. Crowe swung at the next one in line. It's gonna be a long day, he thought to himself.

This is wonderful! It definitely doesn't look like a chicken to me You could maybe add some blur/ motion lines? It's done in comics a lot. That being said I've never tried it myself so I wouldn't know how to explain how its done. I did find a good example on google:

"I like to study evolution, it fascinates me the most, this is my first time off world, I'm a bit nervous actually, I'm proficient in biology, I have a few other skills but I'm not sure how useful they'll be on Namaka, I've never had a protein spontaneously combust on me, I haven't ever wanted to burn my lab down, but I do get pretty frustrated sometimes, I do go to the gym but I've never been trained in combat so I don't think I'd be much of a threat, I would probably never make a biological weapon because it is unethical and illegal, if I did find myself in that situation I don't think I would give it to you, I have never worked under a mentally unstable Ai, I have also never worked under someone who is 200 years old as that is physically impossible for a human being, unless of course your referring to the aforementioned Ai, I have never really studied human biochemistry in depth though I'm sure its quite fascinating."
