  1. "I... dimension? What dimension? Why?" TAAron began running towards the girl. "Wait! What are you going to—" A flare of soul-pain shot through him. He screamed, falling face first to the floor. He hadn't realized he was flaring his pewter.
  2. "Not even slightly, thanks for asking. Where's Haly?"
  3. "Frankly, I've no idea about either. I'd assume they're both around the clinic somewhere."
  4. TAAron downed the vial, sighing in relief at the ease in physical pain. To his dismay, the soul-pain actually felt stronger while the metal burned, and he collapsed back into the bed. "Present," TAAron groaned.
  5. "Yes." And so he did. He felt the shock of pain again, but he kept going. He really wished he had some pewter. Standing all the way up now, although he was supporting himself with a hand on the wall, he asked, "Have you seen a brown cloth bag around here somewhere?"
  6. "OK, well... Let's just get it over with, okay? I can't just lay here doing nothing."
  7. "Side effects? What kind of side effects?" He paused. "You know, shouldn't I be experiencing some side effect other than pain right now? I'm one step out of the Physical Realm, aren't I?"
  8. My talent would be having terrible aim. If hitchhikers guide to the galaxy is to be believed, I could harness my talent to fly by falling towards the ground and missing.
  9. I shall also contribute. My name isnt particularly complex. I guess similar to Trutharchivist, in that I have a pretty good memory irl
  10. What if the sorting hat is communist?
  11. An insomiac poem:

The Aspiring Archivist stays up too late.

He lies on his bed in a heap.

He's got nothing to do but lots on his plate.

    He's certainly lacking in sleep.

He could be doing so many things,

But instead he just sits here a types.

Waiting for comfort that gentle sleep brings,

    While pointlessly passing the night.

Unless you do live quite far away,

You ought to be sleeping as well.

Soon I'll retire until comes the day,

So here is my night's farewell.

    Good night.

  12. Explore them, get scared, leave. WWYDIYF thirteen and a half cactus needles in your pocket?
  13. Put me in California's Great America. Seems like just the right amount of vague.
  14. These are all really inpressive! I like the nest one a lot.
  15. "You don't sound very sure. Are you sure? I-" TAAron tried to sit up, resulting in pain like an electric shock running through his body. He found that he could distinguish physical pain from the soul-pain that was coming as a result of being halfway down the road to the Beyond.
  16. "My what? What happened?" He took a few deep breaths. "Sir? I think I'm... still dying."
  17. The agonizing pain did not pass. Why did he still feel as though he were halfway... torn? Eventually, his throat became raw, and he stopped screaming. But the pain still did not go away. "Where is... where are my friends? Why am I... AHH!"
  18. The page began to tear. And then, in the middle, it stopped. TAAron's soul was in complete agony as some force kept him from release. His body tensed as the specialist healed him brain and he awoke. Then, he screamed.
  19. Deep in the recesses of his mind, TAAron began feeling a tension. It was like the twisting force that tears of piece of paper, ready to finally tear him away from his agony. He knew that he didn't want to die, but it didn't seem like there was much of a choice anymore. It was like he was trapped in a dream in a dream in a dream, and he was about to wake up for the last time. Odd sensation, for what they call "the final sleep."
  20. The page read in a rushed script: Hello, friends. Congratulations on saving the scholar boy and chasing me away. I am really quite impressed. However, I was not keen on letting you catch me yet. I must first accomplish my own goal. I would not recommend trying to pursue me. If you do, you know now that I have access to the clinic. I could strike him while he's down, and nothing could be done about it. So go be with your friend. He might well die anyways, but I imagine you will try to make sure that doesn't happen. Goodbye, and see you soon.
