  1. ¡Pues, bien hecho! Yo he estudiado español por varios años. Como dije, mi gramática no es perfecta, pero es aceptable. Ya voy a hablar en inglés. *Screaming, cackling ensues* Was that the spanish demon again? Oh well.
  2. ¡Yo tambíen puedo escribir en dos idiomas! ¿O están todos usando un translador? Sabes, es difícil escribir con acentos cuando usas un teléfono. Probablemente hice un error gramático. No se si error es una palabra femenina o masculina.

  4. Because The Wandering Wizard briefly mentioned the prospect of how terrifying it would be to suddenly gain free will. A little too off topic?
  5. Page 17: Nameless and Frustration have a very long conversation about what would happen in a Cosmere vs. WOT battle. Lyric regrets suggesting a different topic of conversation, Tani and Morningtide join in a bit, and Random Fellow is still on fire.
  6. Imagine how terrifying general life would be if you were just thrown into it after having been unexposed your whole life. Social life, work/academic life, etc. has so many facets that we have to get used to over time. Whenever something like that gets disrupted, like with COVID, it throws us for a spin. Trying to get accustomed to everyday life with no prior experience would be a nightmare I could never imagine.
  7. The manipulator was getting frustrated. Now they had not only separated his host from the room, but the idiotic man wasn't even moving anymore! The stupid thing practically wasn't alive anymore, by the looks of it. Every second TAAron stayed comatose was a second of potential time for the manipulator to take action. Still, maybe it was better this way. At least one of them would be dead, and then he could come back for the girl and the weaving man another time. Whatever the case, they must all die.
  8. Oh, no. He's actually going to kill me. Mind racing, TAAron came up with an idea. Allowing the force to take him into a full sprint at Nameless, he pounced on the man. Then, instead of kicking, he subtly adjusted his reaction to the command in order to push off, knocking Nameless over but sending TAAron flying backwards. As he thought of more ways to stall for time, he could feel the control he had over his body weakening. This time, however, it wasn't the other thing taking control. Instead, his brain was giving out, no longer able to properly manage itself. Although this probably meant he had brain damage, he couldn't help but feel satisfied that the manipulator's vessel had been taken out. He stood up, then fell back down. Checkmate.
  9. The attack slammed into TAAron. It should definitely have knocked him out, but it seemed that the control over him was absolute enough to keep him awake. All it did instead was make him falter and leave the imprisoned part of TAAron's mind screaming in agony. He could feel that he wasn't supposed to keep operating like that, and he was pretty sure that if he kept going like this for much longer it might cause some serious damage. Yet he could do nothing about it.
  10. The manipulator was shocked. Before his very eyes, this girl instantaneously forged a spatial connection to a different dimension! This new dimension was vast, and the manipulator figured she could exit with TAAron at a different location outside of the prison, where his control would begin to weaken. Thankfully, his control over the scholar was not disrupted by the shift, and the girl was now considerably injured. Less fortunately, the other man had gotten through the gateway. Better do it now, then. TAAron had hoped that his moving into the Belowplace would have freed him. Unfortunately, that was not the case. He felt himself be ordered to kill. Desperate, he managed to make himself stagger a few times, but was unable to stop completely. Hurry, Nameless! he thought. Whoever was controlling him wasn't willing to wait.
  11. Swinging away from Nameless, TAAron began attacking Haly against his will. He grabbed ahold of one of her arms as she descended into the Belowplace, twisting it and breaking it before letting her fall the rest of the way. On the outside his expression was emotionless and unfocused. On the inside, TAAron was horrified at what he had just done.
  12. TAAron managed to wrenched his head to the side as hard as he could in a feeble attempt to shake his head. He was forced to throw himself at the wall, bouncing off with a painful impact. As he stood up, he again made an effort to shake his head, and even managed to mouth a terrified no. Focusing mostly on sealing off the connection to other man had made, the manipulator realized he was losing some of his hold on TAAron. He quickly seized him again, forcing him to keep struggling despite the TAAron's true Intent being against it. Unfortunately, his methods were not sound enough to force the scholar to commit his full ability to the fight and make him strategize in the manipulator's favor.
  13. I found a friend who read Mistborn and now I may subtly attempt to convert him. We'll see how it goes.

  14. TAAron could not speak in return. He only could keep attacking. With a bit more time, however, he found that he could control the direction of the attack. He struck at Nameless' left side three times in a row before a more direct command forced him to aim for the head. He hoped Nameless would notice the abnormality.
  15. TAAron lashed out at Nameless, striking him hard. Meanwhile, in his head, he couldn't help but ponder his situation and its oddities. Unlike what he had researched about Intent, the controlling force on his wasn't influencing his thoughts much. He could tell what it wanted to do, and his body acted upon that, but it wasn't practically mind control like you might achieve if someone had a lot of Hemalurgic spikes. He hadn't though about it much since initially dismissing the involvement of his brass spike, but he began realizing again that his form of control didn't really match his studies. Meanwhile in [REDACTED], The man behind the scenes was getting frustrated. First the insolent scholar found ways to defy his control, and now his friend were meddling and gaining access to the prison! He couldn't keep track of everything at once. He was only human, after all.
  16. With a pewter flame that he couldn't seem to control, TAAron leaped and swung at the birds, the thing clearly attempting to kill the intruder. He watched in horror as the newly made opening began to glow. Soon, they might both be trapped. He wasn't sure how Haly had gotten in here, and he was afraid that she wouldn't be able to escape once all of the threads had been cut for good.
  17. Shocked, TAAron tried to leap back, only managing a stumble as the thing's Intent faltered in surprise. A mess of things that looked vaguely like Haly had just fallen into his prison. He tried to run to her, but could not. Instead, he felt himself be forced to walk to her and grab her by the throat. No! Stop! But he couldn't escape from the control any longer.
  18. TAAron was awakened again, waiting hopefully for another opportunity to break out. Then, he heard someone yelling. Who is that? He though he could recognize the voice, if not what it was saying. Haly? What could he say in return? Could he speak at all? I wonder if she's taken the Lerasium yet... what could it have done to her magic? Could she use it somehow? On a random whim, he forced against the thing and cried out "FIND ME!" He didn't manage to say anything else before the thing took him back over, and made sure to keep his mouth shut.
