"Right. So, if this balefire is so powerful, why didn't it completely kill, or erase, the manipulator?"

"I guess not." He sat down, sighing. "That manipulator guy... he scares me. What was that you hit him with, anyway? Balefire? What does that do?"

TAAron grunted, apparently frustrated. "Even if you recover completely, what do we do for a couple days? Just sit here? What if the manipulator guy comes back?"

"That's what you call it? Yeah, I guess so. The question is, will you heal? Concussion don't really... go away. At least as far as I'm aware. "Do you know if there is any potential way to connect to the One Power without having to heal first? Like a magical boost of some sort?"

"Not in this dimension, apparently. We're in a bit of a conundrum here. We need to go to different dimension to heal you, but we need to heal you to go to a different dimension."

That's for sure. But what does that mean for Tristan? "Woah!" TAAron grabbed her arm. "Where are you going? It's dangerous, I think."

"I don't care! It's serious. You could suffer more permanent or extreme damage if you go untreated."

"That's not alright, it's dangerous. We need to get you some help. I assume you can't travel interdimensionally right now so we can get back to the clinic, or wherever else there's medical care? Maybe Terra de Lumine, or something?"

Antin looked up from his papers. "What's this?"

Yeah. "Ah. That does not seem very fine. So can you heal yourself, or do we need to get you to a doctor?"

"Yeah, the guy turned into that energy ball thing and collapsed it on us. So you're okay now? You were acting pretty weird for a while there." What is this energy ball? TAAron looked surprised. "You're here, too, Tors? Great! Uh, I don't know. The manipulator looked pretty normal, although he was was able to make explosion-type things by snapping his fingers. Then, when Nameless hit him with the... balefire? He just turned into a ball of black energy and tried to kill us. It was definitely something." Oh, no. That's bad. That's really, really bad. The words only came to Haly's mind.

He smiled broadly as well. "Nameless and Wynn found me. The manipulator was there. I saw him. He looked like a normal guy, but when Nameless blasted him there was his big ball of black energy." His smile faded. "He, uh, hit Nameless, and-" He what? "You're awake! What do you remember?"

Someone grabbed her, steadying her. "Haly! How did you get here? Are you alright?" It was TAAron. @Ookla the Untitled

Seems like a strange kind of magical energy. It's not familiar, but it does feel like it's coming from somewhere, however difficult that may be to perceive given that we are nowhere.

@Ookla the Obstinate Once she entered interdimensional space, Haly experienced an odd sensation, like some sort of energy coming from somewhere. It provided a vague sensation of location.
