    Lerac paused to think. "That's normally not something within my abilities."

    "Hm? Yeah, I'm okay. Do you need something?"

    Lerac looked at them as they came in. He was back in his dark cloak. It was hard to be sure, but his eyes might have been a bit red, as though he had cried some time ago. "Hi. A lot going on, huh?"

    As they approached the infirmary, they could feel the sickening overlap of Lerac's two auras. It was stronger than normal, but it seemed to diminish as they got closer.

    "Maybe we can still find Lerac, or someone. Let's just go to the infirmary."

    "What if I can't put it back right away?"

    "Can I risk it? What if I have to cut the connection? You still need it."

    "I'm just worried. I wish I knew what was happening to me."

    "I don't really know who that is. Let's just try to find anyone, maybe? Most people here must know more about what's happening than we do."
