TAAron laughed, a little more tension gone. "She probably could have done better than a traumatized scholar with major soul damage, but I'm not complaining."
"Oh. His name is Malum, and his intent is pretty much pure evil. He can speak in minds, occasionally control people, follow you through dimensions... and make you hallucinate, apparently."
"Well, there's been an angry god hounding us for a while now."
He shrugged. "I still can't understand you. Can you understand me? Do you recognize me?"
Quickly, Lerac reached out and grabbed her shoulder, giving her a tiny bit of healing energy that had built up during the short time. Hopefully that does something.
He shook his head, smiling slightly. "Not really, just interesting."
