    How so? There's a knife in his chest, and it won't be coming out. "What do you mean, 'serious?'" Lerac grunted, tugging on the knife again. "And you're sure you can't do anything about this?"

    'See you soon?' Denial? That's what you want to be the last thing you said to him? Lerac turned to Mitis. "Any ideas?"

    "Haly, do you want to say goodbye now?" TAAron asked through tears.

    "Okay, you're going to have to figure out a way to get him out. I'm about a third of the way through my reserves."

    Lerac glared at her. "Haly, I know you're panicked, but throwing things helps no one. TAAron, are you holding the knife in?" TAAron shook his head slightly. "Great. So someone or something else. Malum, maybe?"

    I'll keep my contribution small. I don't know you personally, Cellist, but I know that you aren't useless, because no one is. That's a lesson I've had to learn about myself, too.

    Lerac tugged harder. "It feels like something is holding it from the outside. It's not physically lodged in there." A tear rolled down TAAron's face. "I'm sorry, Haly. I had to. It was the right thing to do." He didn't seem to be in pain, likely because of Lerac's healing.

    "It's okay, Haly. We have time. I had a full night's sleep to get my healing back up, and it regenerates faster now. I just have to figure out why this knife won't come out."

    TAAron apparently Pulled on the knife, because it quickly flew out of the corner and plunged into TAAron's chest. Immediately, Lerac strode forward, placing one hand on TAAron, who had fallen to the ground, to heal him. He tugged on the knife to remove it, but somehow, it didn't budge. "What the..."

    TAAron looked absent, withdrawn. His hand brushed a knife at his side that hadn't been there before.

    "No. That's a waste. You have so much value as a person. I... don't."

    Update: I remembered that my AMA existed, and just answered a bunch or questions on it! Feel free to ask some more whenever you feel like it. Or don't, it's your choice.

    I don't know, man. I had a friendly conversation with a group of girls for like and hour over a game of mega Jenga, and I didn't care. Not that there's anything wrong with it if you do care, I think I'm the weird one here. Hence my lack of qualification. Also haha @The Halcyon Girl. Look, he's got to have some character flaws.
