    TAAron turned to Rue. "I think we need to-" Then the golden glow that had been blazing around him winked out, and he collapsed.

    "You healed them both, didn't you?" TAAron looked around. "That's... not good."

    "It's okay, Melody." TAAron stopped her again, removing all thought and intention.

    "What is happening?" Melody felt a wave of stilling energy, calming and grounding her. TAAron was so ablaze with light it was hard to see him.

    "I can't either! What makes you think I can?"

    "I... can try? But it's not something I've ever been able to do." He reached for Luna, glow growing stronger. Nothing happened.

    TAAron just stared at her, then at Luna.

    "I can't! That's not one of my powers. Get someone else from the clinic, or something."

    "What? I can't heal her."

    TAAron, oddly enough, did not see the illusion. He ran straight at Luna, grabbed her arm, and issued a single command. STOP.

    TAAron found himself in shock for a brief moment at what Luna had just done. Then, hoping desperately that someone with healing capabilities would help Melody, he went after Luna, ablaze in golden light.

    He didn't react to the attacks. A golden glow rose around him, and Luna felt a wave of calm.

    TAAron was still holding the arm, and kept it restrained. "What are you doing?"

    TAAron reacted with unusual speed and caught her arm before she hit Jar Man.

    Eventually, they found a branch that could get caught after entering the river partway. It wasn't ideal, but they hoped it could make for some sort of handhold. @Ookla the Shadowed

    They tried to search for something to use to go down without being dragged away.
