"Thank you." He began to walk again, more steadily this time.

He unsuccessfully tried to stand on his own. "Okay."

He shook his head. "I need to sleep... but we're going to the Arch."

He did not seem to share her enthusiasm.

"A little," he said quietly.

Against his better judgement, he took the water. It helped clear his head.

Terrance stumbled and finally hit the ground, finding that he lacked the energy to stand up. He sat there, staring into nothing.

"I'm fine."

Terrance kept walking, but started to stumble more and more.

He shrugged.
-
"It's just a few small cuts."

He sighed. "It's fine. I did it to myself."

Terrance's hand slipped from his arm, revealing fresh blood as he stumbled on a small stone.

"But if you've known me longer..." He began anxiously picking at the scabs on his arm again.

"Will it hurt you more now or later?"

"But I will eventually. Why make it harder by waiting?"

"Maybe I could just leave here, save the trouble..."

He seemed wary of that.

He frowned. "Last time you ended up having to run back after me."

"...Sure."

Terrance seemed to flinch at something, like an invisible pain.

He shook his head.

Terrance stood somewhat near her.

Terrance still seemed to barely register his surroundings, though that was likely due to his fatigue.
