On the bright side, that means I can be more active on here tomorrow!

Insomniac Poem: Sick Edition

I am quite ill,

My throat is quite sore.

It hurts when I cough,

To rest is a chore.

So again here I find

Myself writing a poem.

I like writing verses

And I like to show 'em

Halloween rolls around,

It's October's end.

There are costumes to wear

And candy to send.

I ought to get sleep now,

Or else I may not

Be healthy for when

I must round the block.

So ends the night before night before night

Of costumes and candy and cartoonish fright.

Goodnight to the bats, the black cats, the moonlight.

Goodnight to the sickness, my ailment, my blight.
