Pic held her to try and support her. He watched, helpless, as these beings of great power clashed above him. He knew his sheild would not work, so he tried a different preperation. He paused his song, and focused on what he wanted. He wanted Aventine and Lundyn safe. He wanted to take care of the both of them. He let those emotions guide his voice into a song, and trusted himself to do what was needed. His voice stayed quiet, and began to hum a halting, jerking melody. It had hints of sadness, hints of hope, and most importantly, longing. The staves began to glow pink and slithered towards Lundyn's and Aventine's ankles. They wrapped around, mimicking a bracelet, and waited, thrumming with the music and pulsing with power. As Pic layered his music into a symphony with an untraceable tempo, the magic waited. For in order to join a symphony, one merely has to sing.

Pic's singing cut out for a split second. Well that was attractive he thought. He then followed her advice, slowing the song down even further. He began to take large breaths to sustain the notes.

"If I am quiet," he scream sings, "Then all three of us are dead!" While speaking, he regained control of the tempo, and their fall slowed.

Pic had a death grip on Aventine's body, humming loudly and faster in his panic. The three of them (plus Roy's body) began to fall faster and faster.

"Food sounds nice," he says to a strange rhythm. He takes on a look of confusion, and looks up at the top meeting room of the tower. "Not bad," Pic hums through a mouthful of sandwich. Pic panicked, almost choking on his sandwich. He fell for a few seconds, them remembered that he had a kid and a girlfriend falling with him. He tightened his grip on Aventine and Lundyn, and his staves sprang into existence around him. He hummed a very slow song, which was difficult in the circumstances, and the staves constricted around the two girls. Pic hung onto the staves and began to sing as loud as he could. The staves began to glow and slow their fall. However, about halfway down, one of Thaidakar's blasts clipped Pic's legs. Pic's grip loosened, and he began to fall.

Pic smiled warmly at her, and gave her a quick kiss on the cheek. Lundyn was still piggybacking on him, as her wing was injured and she wouldn’t be able to fly if she fell. “So now what, we wait for the driver and then meet this guy who can track down the person who can get us home?” He hummed in a minor key. @The Bookwyrm @shortcake @Ancient Elantrian @Thaidakar the Ghostblood @Aeoryi @RoyalBeeMage

Because I think for sure that TUA is an elim. My vote was not going to change the outcome, it was 3 or 4 to 1. I took the time to show my reasoning, and then after the train formed, there was no point in changing. My vote was there as a reminder that we needed to discuss TUA next cycle. Yeah its related to the game (lost it again). You can check my post history.

Not holding a grudge per say, but considering that was the first interaction for this game, I might be conformation biasing. Like this post makes me think along the same lines as Weaver, because it is something e!Cash might do. But also once again the first knee jerk reaction vote kinda makes me split between new villager copying action versus elim trying to stir the pot early game. Yeah if we are wrong it is a 50/50 shot.

First thoughts without rereading are neutral negative vibes. This could be the afeormentioned grudge talking, but Wierdo's votes have felt a little rushed/instinctive. (The first being the knee-jerk vote on me). Give me some time to reread and I'll have more coherent thoughts.

Yeah that's the problem. a 2v2 forces a tie vote, potentially a 3-1 vote split on V. So today we need to get an elim out, hence why I am voting TUA. I've gone over why I think they are one of the elims before.
