    Yay!! Sure, citizen of the empire is fine. He doesn't pay much attention to politics, which means I don't have to pay much attention. Which is exactly my style. I'll try to get the basics down, though

Oh well, she'd show him she could be independent. She'd ignore him and wait until he noticed. Five minutes later, she climbed the wall and hugged his head. "Missed you!"

    “Death is part of life,” he replied simply. “Okay,” she chirped, and burrowed happily into the nest.

    Fly messed with the sash of her dress nervously. “Promise?” Bat knelt down and put his hands on her shoulders. “She’s not gonna hurt anyone. She’s not like the Narrators in the stories— she’s just like us, but with Narration abilities. I promise it’ll be fine.” Fox looked up at him, searching for confirmation in his eyes. She must have found it, because her expression lightened and she hugged him. - “Quite a while ago. Shortly after I met my wife.”
