  1. He took it, then stood. He squeezed it before letting go. “I wonder if there’s spaghetti around here.” - “I don’t want to,” he told her.
  2. She frowned, looking down across the village. “That’s… strange. So… do you have a quest for me, or a problem, or a favorite flower or something to sell?” She had. She’d done it a lot. He’d even pestered her into doing it when he was sore sometimes. - “It’s okay… I’m okay.” Somebody knocked on the door of the cabin.
  3. “Village key? A… key? Do you have it?” “No, no, Tam, I… I didn’t mean that.” He closed his eyes and held back tears.
  4. “I… yeah. Just grinding away.” He smiled again.
  5. He looked up. “Oh… yeah. Yeah, I’m good.” He offered a half smile
  6. “Tam,” he murmured into her hair, “It’s okay. I don’t care.” - “Wow,” he breathed. “Wow. You… you’ve done that before.”
  7. Ian felt lonely. He was used to that, but… sometimes it was worse than other times. And tonight he felt it.
  8. “It’s not your fault,” he whispered. - “Oh— oh. No, go ahead.”
  9. “I don’t have your village key.” She looked expectant. “Yeah. I’m okay.” - “I don’t think so.”
  10. It made him want to do something. Something real and meaningful. Something to keep him from being forgotten. - “No…” He touched his head. “A little.” She got to the top very quickly. She seemed surprised to see him.
  11. “Fascinating. So… you never slow down, do you?” Rose screamed, clutching her arms. Blood gushed from where her tattoos were— her arms, her neck, her back.
  12. “Hmm,” she considered, curling up comfortably in the chair. “Interesting.” “What’s wrong?” ”CERTAINLY.”
  13. “Hmm.” She made a similar, slower motion, concentrating on the idea of a plushy armchair. “What does it look like when it feels most like home?” ”That’s… that’s weird.” ”Yes. That. As long as you don’t go dispersing your mind.”
  14. She grinned. “Beautiful. I assume you have furniture in another room?” ”Requires… someone from my tribe?” ”No,” she said vehemently. “No. Please don’t do that.” “Perfect, thanks.” She grinned and began scaling the tower, making use of the tiniest nooks.
  15. “That’s good. I’d hate to see you dead.” She idly played with the wall for another moment, then stepped back. - Rose stared at her. “A ritual?” - “That would be incredibly foolish and likely wouldn’t stick.” She shuddered at the thought. “No, I think with that alternative, I’ll stay beholden.” She laughed. “Don’t worry about it.”
  16. “You seem weirdly real.” “I didn’t either.” He gave her a squeeze, suddenly very afraid she’d be ripped away again. - He sighed. “Of course I did. Why wouldn’t I.” - She nodded. Thanks! ”Gracious me. I’d apologize if I had been given any control over the situation.” She walked to a wall and ran her fingers over it. - “Wait, wh… did I what?” “I would be glad to aid as well.” She sighed, as Stone was already gone. “I can hardly stand being beholden to this woman,” she muttered. YOU SAID YOU WERE SLEEING. I SAW IT.
  17. Thanks He hugged her back. “What happened?” He whispered. - “I dunno. Ow. What was that?” “I’m here looking for a bell tower, actually.” She grinned. “You know, you’re a lot more interesting than most of the people I’ve met here.” Thanks @Dragonheir sorry for quoting u twice Rose held her hands out protectively. “No. No, wait. I don’t remember any of that… I’m in a mirror!” Orchid shrunk to a small size and perched on Holt’s shoulder. @Through The Living Glass
  18. Scud I forgot rose @Dragonheir she chose the ink bird tam mirror right “Please,” she said eagerly, and followed Sovin.
  19. Thanks Symbol’s ice crackled and broke apart. She scowled, having not enjoyed the experience of being frozen such. “Apologies. I am back.” They melted out, most with seemingly no idea they’d been frozen. Bat could tell, though, and he looked disturbed. - Aden sat up, rubbing his head. “Thank you,” she said to Sequence, and nodded in affirmation of Rebus’ words as she waited for her Author to find the most recent interaction in the conversation. Thanks Twelve finally got up, rubbing his head. Ice unfroze. “Sorry about that,” she told @TwinStorm I forgot his name. “Had to go eat dinner, y’know.”
  20. He frowned. “Cages? What cages?”
  21. Ian hid the dice in his hands. “So we did leave the library? Why?”
  22. Ian felt lonely, but that was normal. He took a seat behind everyone and pulled out a set of dice after some furtive glances to ensure nobody was looking.
  23. Ian felt like he was imposing. Still, it was incredibly annoying to not know what was happening.
