  1. Well. Yes, but also no. Haly waded toward the others, wincing at the thorns. I might be able to… if the tingling decides it wanted to. I’ll keep trying, though. ”Sorry, guys,” she muttered, ashamed.
  2. “I don’t know! This just happens!” Haly bit her lip, trying to hold back the panic. She held her hands at arms length. “It doesn’t know that!” And then roses. Lots of roses. They filled the surrounding area, spreading out from Haly, waist deep at least. Unfortunately, they had thorns. ”Ow.”
  3. “It’s coming,” Haly replied, forgetting to think it, voice shaking. The tingling spread, ready to burst.
  4. This ‘Me’ was faintly reminiscent of another being, but who it was could not be told.
  5. Haly walked around miserably, waiting for somebody to hurry up and get them out of there. This was ridiculous! Could he really go insane? Haly hoped she wouldn’t find out. Her agitation just kept growing. And with it came a tingling in her fingers. Oh no. Not again…. ”Guys?” Her voice took on a slightly panicked edge. “Guys, help!”
  6. “Yeah, let’s do that!” Nayka picked up Fiadh’s drawing and offered it to her.
  7. And with it, evil. For a magnanimous tyrant had risen up. Me.
  8. Nayka watched Fiadh. It’s nice to have somebody my age around.
  9. I wonder about convos sometimes, but mostly I just enjoy talking to y’all on here. You guys are special! Yay!
  10. “A signed drawing.” Nayka grinned, too. “The best thing ever.”
  11. Inae sent him off with a “Thank you for honoring me with your presence!”
  12. Haly returned in time to hear this. “No, he’s not dead. He didn’t fall through on purpose. Thankfully.” Quote tors cuz edit blah blah Haly growled in frustration. Well, what now?
  13. My tyrannical empire. Congratulations. 1355
  14. “WAIT!” Haly whirled into a wind chime of birds, streaking after TAAron. But she couldn’t overtake him before he got to the void, and she stopped short, her birds clinking gently.
  15. You are recruited. 1352
  16. Accordingly, the gong dragons packed up the meal in a small picnic basket and handed it to the Great Mage.
  17. “Okay. So. We ask somebody if they can launch us, then Nameless pretends to disable it, and accidentally breaks the rope. He asks the person to retie it and goes unconscious.” Haly shrugged. “There’s some holes, but…”
  18. “Not at all. Thank you so much. I can ask the dragons to pack it up for your friend, if you like.”
  19. “Yes! That’s what I said!” Happy with herself, Haly summoned a large marshmallow beanbag and sunk backward into it. “But it’ll be nice to know! If we do die. Which no way is that happening.” Haly chomped out a bite of the beanbag.
  20. “Um. Over there!” I point to a complicated-looking device.
  21. “Really?” Inae perked up, hating to waste all this food.
  22. “We should find someone to do it for us unintentionally. With the rope thing and all that? Tell them that we need them to do it, and ask them to retie the rope and then turn it on and stuff?”
