    Perfect Beosta cursed herself. What was she doing? She didn’t even have a weapon that would hurt them. She had to hurt them. She had to hurt them somehow! She had to hurt them before they hurt Shoe! Something happened— no, Livetha did something. Beosta could feel one of the withergeists— the thirst for destruction, the power, the… She ripped it apart— thrust her whole self at it and tore with the mental equivalent of fingernails. That would probably cause great pain, maybe leave it unable to function while its core unscrambles

    Beosta dodged faster than she could think. She spat out curses she hadn’t known she knew, then stabbed the warrior again, and again, and again. Beosta snapped out of her rage. Shoe. Right. Beosta dashed away from the warriors to the path the vines had made, dodging the people and withergeists in her way.

    Beosta’s throat was raw from screaming. She didn’t know where this panic came from— all she knew was that this was not allowed. They couldn’t have Shoe. She ran for the mass of vines, pulling out a dagger from her boot. She tugged on Livetha’s strength, speed, and agility— wherever the stoat was— and Livetha gave it all. Beosta stabbed the first warrior through the chest so hard the dagger’s hilt ended up stuck. She growled and tugged it out. lemme know if anything about this is incorrect because I’m totally cool with changing things @xinoehp512

    “The heck is that voice?” She cleared her throat and returned to her accent. “I say, what can that be?”

    She paused. “Is this reality TV? I hate reality TV. Yes, I’ll help you! Where are those buggers?”

    Lady Laenor Ge-Tosta nodded thoughtfully. “Yes, yes. You as well. Quite novel… so what are we doing again?” Laenor adored being around fellow actors. The words they used— simply marvelous!

    Beosta gritted her teeth. She could feel the bond pressin up against what she had with Livetha, but it didn’t feel dangerous. She could handle it. Speaking of, where was Livetha?

    My lil brother (7th grade) likes this girl. And she likes him back. 

    So uh yeah, he’s got more of a love life than I do :P 

    On another note, I had a dream last night that 1billion% should have been incredibly scary and disturbing but all I remember being was mildly nervous and tryna increase my chances of staying alive.

    Basically there was this really awful disease that required us to eat brains. Spoiler for the squeamish.

    So apparently somebody had died and we were passing around tubes of brain

    and there was more, but that was what stuck with me.

     

    I don’t remember actually eating any, which is good. I just remember being incredibly grateful when I woke up.

    “What are you doing with Shoe??” Beosta repeated, ignoring the rest. Gail felt useless. If I don’t put smth for her I’ll forget she exists so Yeah we’re basically gonna go sledding! It’s gonna be fun

    My biggest advice would be to ease up on yourself. Every high schooler ever is too hard on themselves. Just remind yourself that y’all are doing your best with what you have, keep being friendly, and remember that it’s really not as awkward as it feels.
