    Sometimes it hurts to watch those movies where someone dies at the beginning. Seeing everyone talk like “I need my brother” 

    and wondering if that’s how my people would react if I had a heart condition or something

     I kinda hope they wouldn’t

    She lit up with the attention. “I am Lady Laenor Ge-Tosta of Hundred Isles of Darkness, a famous and incredibly popular serial TV show! I’m from San Brighton, Columbine and I am an actor.” She struck a regal pose with her cane for emphasis.

    “Livetha has it. Not me.” Outside the room, a man waved to Tam from a little ways away. He appeared to be in his forties or fifties, and his gaze was sharp and alert.

    She nodded. Dang, she felt sad now for whatever reason. That was unfortunate.

    “The people you care about might be safer now. Since you have powers and stuff.”

    She nodded. “Yeah. That makes sense.” Honestly, what had she expected? “I’m sorry,” she offered.

    “Of course I’ll be interviewed!” Lady Laenor flung out her arms, still holding her cane. “I am at your disposal. What do you wish to know?”

    That made her sad. She hugged him. Then a doubt struck her. How they were when?

    “Calm down,” she snapped. Livetha didn’t like Beosta’s tone, so she took the anxiety for herself. Beosta’s head instantly felt clearer. “Sorry. I… sorry for getting mad.”

    Don’t worry about it. I’m okay. She smiled. However, Shoe’s anxiety assailed her, even though she tried to remind herself it wasn’t even hers. She didn’t want him to be anxious, because he would be okay now. Sorry for the incoherency I’m tired
