    Bat almost reached for his bag. But this wasn’t something he could fix. “Do you want a shell?” He pulled out a tiny little conch.

    I think it wouod be good if they’re both from the same nation— or we could have him be someone important to the opposite side she knows of by reputation, but when she meets him she finds out hes someone who betrayed her country and she knew him before.

    He broke down into sobs. “Nobody loves me!” Bat reorganized his bag again, glad to see that he hadn’t lost anything at all. Bat frowned. He wasn’t sure that would have been the best idea, given Tam’s aversion.

    “That’s bad,” he muttered. He dug around in his bag and pulled out two small, orange swirls. “Swallow these, okay?” “Pancakes sound good.” “I do,” Gaioh said happily. “I’ll take some eggs too.”

    "You're still cold? How cold?" The Ninja's lip quivered, which was somehow visible beneath his mask. "N... no... I kidnap...." Bat smiled. "Thank you." "Apple juice," he replied. "Please."
