    "Oh. Right, I should have fixed you up." He beckoned Cricket to sit down next to him. Gaioh gave Tim a suspicious glance.

    oh ok "Yeah." He dug around in his bag and pulled out three pills. He gave two to Cricket and swallowed the other himself. Oh, his Notblades were still in his sheath. That was good. He was probably just going crazy or something.

    "Sorry. She doesn't... well, she won't do it again." He glared at the bird, whose twittering sounded uncommonly like sass.

    They did hurt. The extra energy leaves made it easy enough to ignore, and if the pain became a problem, he had plenty of painkillers. "I'm okay." He frowned at his tattoos. "I do need to figure some things out, though. You... you saw what I did, right?" Oh wait he has them?

    He frowned. It would be difficult to relax knowing his Notblades were elsewhere. "Okay. Fair. Do you have any idea where Tam might have gone?"

    Stea twittered, nibbled her hair, and hopped back to Vey.

    "I'd like to have them back..." He began treating his own burns.

    He nodded. "Good. That's very good." He dug around in his bag for some burn ointment and bandages. He'd re-tattoo later. "And my Notblades?"

    Stea hopped onto her shoulder and twittered again. "Yeah. I love her."

    He smiled and pet Feather, picking him up as he paced. He winced with every step until he eventually sat back down. "What about Tam? She's okay, right?" "And where are my Notblades?"

    Sure, but it's probably just the Nullite blade now. "I--- what happened?" He frowned down at himself. "What happened to my tattoos?" His leg started bouncing. He gave it a pointed stare, then sighed. "You gave me the leaves, right? How many?" "Three," Gaioh replied. He sighed again, getting up to pace. "Two too many. Here, gimme my bag."

    He nodded. "She can do the same. And she has a far higher measure of intellect than regular birds."

    Gaioh nodded and fed Bat three. Bat woke up immediately and sat up with a squeak. "What happened?" He demanded. "Where's Tam and Cricket? Oh, hi, Cricket. There you are. Good, and what about my bird? Oh, hey, Feather."

    "Because I have a best friend." He pet her. "And I can heal people, run faster, jump higher, break stuff... all sorts of things."

    "Can I... heal him? Uh.......... I don't think..." He frowned. "Didn't he have energy leaves or something? So you could at least wake him up?" I can't dislike people who like Bat

    Gaioh waved. How he'd wandered off back to the beach, he didn't know. And why Bat's bird had come with him, he also didn't know. Why some random lady had dumped Bat's bag on his head, he also didn't know. "Hey, Cricket. What happened to him?" WHAT NO DONT DISLIKE BAT

I did a survey recently for my friends' favorite tropes, archetypes, etc. and now I'm gonna write them into a work of literature! I have no idea how long it will be! This was supposed to be my 4000th post but instead it's 4001 but YOU KNOW WHAT we're gonna ignore that. 4000 posts! It's the thought that counts. 4000 posts and y'all are still stuck with me I'll be posting world building information as I finish the world building. Same with the magic system. I'll make sure to list what tropes each aspect fulfills for you guys. If anyone has any opinions on character names or anything, let me know! Winning tropes: Thanks again to everyone who voted! I'm so excited to finish everything up, plot this out, and get started. Feel free to bother me about it... goodness knows I need more motivation much of the time And thus it begins.
