    “Thank you.” She took a swig. Bat waited for the Narration to take effect. While he waited, he played with the buckle of his satchel.

    “I guess we could just trust him.” “You’re welcome. I hope so too.” He kicked up a tiny bit of water. “Worst comes to worst, we escape into one of these worlds. With so many doors, there’s no way they could find us, even if they knew how to look.”

    She frowned. “I guess I just figured since you had so much power…” Vey bent down and picked up some sand, letting the grains slide through his fingers. He smiled, then joined Aora barefoot in the sea.

    He carefully set her back on her feet. “He’ll be fine. We— we’ll get him. Summon a bow and arrow or some kind of range weapon or— or— I don’t know—!”

    precisely. My engineer wasn't gene edited at all, and he's one quirky dude

    Alr. Also, for the two characters featured, she's a sneaky assassin person trying to save the nerdy smart one. Except he's betrayed his country 1. because it's a lost cause 2. in exchange for promises that the people he cares about won't be hurt 3. because he's a nerdy science dude and they have a lot of cool science stuff. Does that sound okay before I write up the quick summary?

    "Yeah... I mean, if he's telling the truth, we could save the clinic."

    "Fantastic." Bat squeezed her shoulder. "We have to go. Tam, get up!" I will await his call back. Bat noticed. "I am. I learned your langauge." Isadore perked up. "Right, right!" He tore his eyes away from the letters and picked Tam up, then hurried in the direction of the golden letters and out of the field.

    I'm with Magi. Let's just let each person fill in the gaps for themselves. If you want, I can write the scene summary and we can get started on that sometime today. The second thing does sound kinda fun though. I don't think we need to scrap the original.

    "Do you think you'd be willing to try?" Vey grinned and followed more slowly. "Dang, this is pretty," he approved.

    “Right.” He frowned, looked around, and walked down the hallway a bit to a blue door. “This one looks okay.”

    Isadore smiled. It didn’t seem harmful, so she let it stay. — Bat crashed to the grass, then squeaked. Coward! Aren’t you going to help? Cricket probably needs you! He looks like he needs you. He… didn’t feel capable of helping, though. What could he do, chuck a knife like last time? Maybe. If Cricket needed that. He scooted inconspicuously to Tam. “You okay?” He whispered.

    Isadore smirked, brushed herself off, and stood up. “I guess we’ll see.” The message was as follows, in a familiar voice—- the albino’s voice. Rude.

    She spun her fingers, setting the gloves spinning. One of them drifted to her forehead, spreading like smoke across her skin and fading away. The other two entered her lower rib cage. She smiled. “I can understand you now.” She was also in significantly less pain.

    Fineee she’s 19 Isadore reached again and managed to draw three. Three small globes of rich green light appeared between her fingers, about the size of marbles.

    Isadore grimaced, touching her back, stomach, and legs. Isadore gave him a flirty grin. 17. She’ll get her ability to language back in a minute.

    People… are so rewarding. 

    I… honestly don’t have the words to explain, especially on here cuz LOCATION LOCATION if you know what I mean

    so rather than explain what I kinda wanted to tell you, imma tell you about my mom. 

    It doesn’t snow a lot here, but it snowed several inches today during the beginning hours of school. My mother brings my brothers (middle scholars) home because she wants them to be able to experience the snow. 

    A couple days ago, while she was dropping them off, I decided I wanted an egg McMuffin. I called her and asked, and she brought some back for me and my younger siblings.

    I dunno. I guess I’m out of poeticness today. Just know that these things are sweet and beautiful to me, and I love my mother and kind of wanted to tell someone about that.
