    Rose turned back to the book and read for a long time before she finally fell asleep at her desk. He jumped. “Uh… hi,” he whispered. Her character is watching through cameras, I think but we should prolly revive the discussion with Aden and Irie @Through The Living Glass *makesnno comment*

    “Yeah,” she said softly. “But… but even the darkness is sad. It’s like… it’s trying to protect us. But the light always wins out in the end; it’s just a matter of time…” And some nights he couldn’t glow, because the darkness was so terrifying. And so she’d tell him about all the little things that made him happy, and he’d be able to close his eyes and be okay until the morning. Even though it was scary. Uh… the end. He picked her up gently, smiling, and carried her out to the dining room. He lay her carefully on a folded napkin, which he put on a plate at the table. Then he went into the kitchen and messed around.

    NO SAME Beosta did a murder and is working through the effects of that, Rose was severely neglected and micromanaged at the same time, and Bat was bullied relentlessly cuz he kept breaking things because of the bullying so and then ofc we have Ben whose girlfriend was killed by the evil ppl, G who killed her father, Joel who still doesn’t know G (his sister) killed their father, Falcon who was tortured relentlessly for two years… yeah OH AND ISADORE who watched her mentors slaughter her village and then killed them in return

    Tam? He asked after a minute. You didn’t fall asleep…? After a minute, he sighed. No more yelling, then. He turned back into himself. She stood up and flicked off the light, then came back. Okay. Well, she told him to close his eyes and think of the light. And how bright and beautiful it would be when it came, and she told him it hadn’t abandoned him. She said he’d be able to find light if he thought hard enough. And so he gradually started to realize how nice and warm the cave was, and hear the pleasant, steady water drip nearby. So he started glowing.

    Looking around at the bright, sterile room, Five had to remind herself that she was safe. It didn’t look exactly the same— the feel was entirely different— but it was lit. And for so many years, light hed meant pain. She felt a phantom pang in her shoulder, and she curled tighter around herself. “D’you- d’you want the lights off?” She whispered. AW SCUD IM SORRY I WASNT THIBKING DANGIT IM AO USED TO THE MERGING THING— *cries*
