  1. “Yeah. Very. But we should prolly check in with Shoe and Beosta.”
  2. *chucks mini m&ms*
  3. She raised an eyebrow. “Well, would it mess anything up if I did? I could take her to your base, perhaps. Or a shoddy alternate location, though I’ve nothing set up besides Entoturis. Which I am claiming as mine, now that Lady Bug is gone.” He shrugged. Really there were only two reasons it would be fine, and he wasn’t sure he wanted to know which it was.
  4. He stared up at the spiky ceiling. Well, not spiky, exactly. But textured. He wondered just how far in the wall they’d gotten. If they were to become big again, would they crush the stone or get crushed? Strange to think about. “Sorry. I know it’s a weird thing to bring up.”
  5. I have sugar… you should eat it for me i shouod not be eating sugar with how sick I am
  6. “Narrators can do anything.” He nodded, staring up at the ceiling. “What would someone like that be like?” Qodi was gone again. Gail sighed. That was okay… she was used to that. But she was getting tired of the trial. - Symbol frowned. He had a point. Kidnap somebody close to the protagonist, Symbol said. Now. You know who I mean. She surreptitiously pressed a pair of Nullite cuffs into Rebus’ hands. Hurry, before they can notice or react.
  7. Whats up? *squeezes* *more than before ofc
  8. YEA WE SHOULD WE SHOULD MAKE A SOCIETY AND HAVE PRIZES AND WHOEVER WRITES THE MOST CAN BE PREZIDENT FOR THE WEEK NOT PRESIDENT, PREZIDENT BIG DIFFERENCE AND NO I LOVE YOUR TOPICS
  9. And ripping noise, Symbol appeared and bonked Ryss on the head with a baseball bat. “I’m not done existing,” she snapped. Well… that was strange. “More or less.” Her parents continued to greet the people coming in the door. During a short lull, a nicer car pulled up outside, and another family stepped out. They had a son a year or two younger than Rose. She grimaced. Bat grinned and tried not to blush. “We were… I think she made us. A Narrator is basically a mage.” Imma make Symbol try and emulate him cuz that’s gonna be fun and I honestly don’t quite know who she is yet besides Ruia 1. Without the incredible drive to constantly manipulate 2. With sincerity 3. With a friend, which believe it or not makes a HUGE difference and already has avoided a critical offshoot for Ruia’s previous character “For… for you.”
  10. “She was a Narrator so she could do almost anything. She hired us to help run the preserve… I don’t know how she turned into this.” Eepy obeyed.
  11. Her father gave him a sharp warning glance. She smiled a little. “Thanks. You look very handsome.”
  12. I’m so confused Bat shook his head. “That’s not what I mean. Why me?” Really. Why don’t you prove it?
  13. “No,” Bat replied. “Why? What happened?”
  14. Yep, that’s what’s happening ik it’s weird I don’t like your attitude, little man.
  15. That made her sad. Just another reminder that it wouldn’t be this way forever. She stood up, walked over, and kissed his forehead before returning to her own bed.
  16. He was quiet for a long moment. “What would it look like to be good enough?” I’m talking to ur character, child
  17. Hmm. I don’t like your attitude, little man. “No, nothing’s wrong,” he promised.
  18. He was quiet for a minute. “Never mind. I don’t know how to ask.”
  19. He laced his fingers behind his head. “Can I ask you something stupid, Tam?” Hmmmmmmmm
  20. “Okay. Let’s stop here, then.” He sat, feeling a lot safer somehow.

  22. They opened the double doors of a large hall— not a far cry from a ballroom. Arches led the way into two conjoined rooms, making a triangle of bright rooms full of colorfully dressed and distinguished-looking guests. Over by the larger, more lavish outside door, Rose stood with her father and another woman, presumably her mother, greeting guests. Rose didn’t appear to say much, though, and her parents barely acknowledged her. She wore a long, flowing dress the color of her namesake with makeup to match. Her hair had been braided into an exquisite crown laced with tiny white pearls. “We can stop here, if you like.” His eyes widened. Why that meant so much to him, he didn’t know.
