    He took her free hand and stared at the stars. - She stopped. “Thanks for saving my life, Thirteen,” she said in a fake high voice. “I’m so very appreciative of not having to bleed out on a runway in the middle of nowhere. I’m so, so sorry for punching your poor brother who was only trying to help me. I didn’t stop to think maybe he has his own problems. I just wanted to punch his face, you see, and I didn’t consider how much he suffers through already. I didn’t consider that I might become another reason he wants to pull you away from this place and go start a life far away from the organization fighting the people who traumatized and tortured us for years. I’m really sorry about that. Please don’t let me starve out of spite.” She glared at Irie for several seconds, gaze steeped in anger. Five yawned.

    Bat smiled at her and sat next to her. - After maybe ten minutes, a teenage girl who looked remarkably like Twelve (down to the red hair, freckles, and gang lines) entered. She didn’t look at Tam, at least not more than she had to. She scanned her, felt her forehead, and muttered a bunch of technical terms, all while actively and coldly avoiding eye contact. “That’s okay.” She hugged him again.

    He thought about that. “Somewhere we can smell the ocean.” - goshhh irieeeee She woke up in a wood room with very thick restraints. A rug was on the floor, along with a nice coffee table. The cot she was tied to was the only boring thing. The room was just like Starlight’s, except that she was restrained. Very sturdily. “You… you can’t talk anymore?”

    Her tears gradually subsided. "Are you okay?" She whispered. He led her out of the cave place. "Where do you wanna go?" - He ground his teeth. "I try so hard to pour my heart and soul into rescuing people like you. People like you, isn't that funny?" He disappeared behind the curtain.

    ......scud OH OH WAIT FROM MY HERO ACADEMIA? IS THAT WHAT HES FROM??? I LOVE HIM SO MUCH HE'S TOO SWEET AND ADORABLE AND EMOTIONAL. HES TOO INNOCENT. oh and your drawing is pretty amazing too btw

    She kept crying and hugged him tighter, fists clenching around his shirt. The red haired girl set down a tray of food and she and the woman left. Irie- *deep sigh* He rocked her back and forth. "Okay. Let's go." - He yelped and grabbed his nose, staring at her incredulously. "We're trying to help you! What the heck was that?"

    "You're welcome," he murmured. "We should go. Get some sleep, and maybe some food." - He sighed again, looking nervous, and released one of her hands. Pfft She looked up and saw him. She drew a shuddering breath of relief, ran over, and hugged him.

    She left. Five minutes later, she came back with another, older woman. They led Five slowly between them, but were having a hard time because she kept pulling away, sobbing. "It's okay." He ran his fingers through her hair again and held her tighter. "Really. It is, Tam. It's... it's nice that you care." - He sighed. "How about you just open your mouth?"

    "You wanna come? Sorry, no can do. We have to stay secretive until we can officially verify your story." She moved to the door. "But we'll bring in some food, and that girl--- Five, right?" "Wh- for what?" - "Thank you," he said, sounding relieved. He held out a teensy lil pill.

    She tilted her head, reading through it. "Wow. I believe you. That would explain why she's been screaming, poor girl... we'll try for your voice, and we'll get you to her if you can calm her down."

    cuz, you see, I didn't have to go to work

    or to choir

    you see, one of my coworkers wanted more hours and that made me quite happy 

    And so I played BotW and I climbed a mountain out of curiosity and found Naydra and uncorrupted her (best boss fight ever btw; nice and easy and slow and just kinda smth I could actually do 😂) and now I'm going to go get one of these towers :D 

    And I have a kind of idea for a short story that I was supposed to be writing for the last week!
