The creature takes a step back and pulls up some tall grass that was growing next to them. Instantly, the plant burst into flame, attracting some shades.

No branches are that long, but there are many tall tree trunks surrounding you... If only you could manage to cut them down.....

Monster retreats, wounded. Both of you are alright! Quill, it seems as if you sprained your ankle, when you got it stuck. You walk with a limp.

She finds a strong enough stick. The creature pulls the bow free from her hands.

It works, and Quill is out of the trap. However, the creature creeps up behind you and lunges at your legs.

It is very cold, but doesn't harm you and refreshes you as you drink it.

Not yet... the arrow misses. The creature charges at you again and grabs onto your bow, trying to wrestle it out of your grip.

The creature is far, but close enough to notice. The creature starts to make it's way towards you.

Arc is alive! Wandering around the center right now. You can see a river, and trees surrounding you. None in your immediate surroundings. The pain dissipates. A tree branch is just out of your reach. Rask could help you pull the tree branch down to your level, but doesn't seem to be helping.

The rash begins to fade on his finger. Your finger went numb because of the cold.

You make it to the north mud bank, but your legs are still submerged in the cold river. A school of fish head in your direction. (for reference: blood only attracts shades when in open air)

You head in that direction. As you make your way through the forest, your foot gets caught. Then, your entire leg falls through a ditch, disguised as forest floor. It was a trap. You are stuck.

Calliope grips onto a dagger by her side and stands abruptly. "Ariadne. Ariadne, stop crying. Hushh, hushh. It's okay. Everything will be okay. Stop crying..." Calliope began to run down the marble halls of the headquarters. "Ariadne.... That monster, he has you, doesen't he? He took you away from me..." She raised her voice. "Away from me....."

@AN020C As you begin to feel your body go numb with cold, you see fish approaching in the river. You have enough energy to swim away, but your energy is quickly draining in the cold.
