    Does anyone have advice on how to be comforting to someone else?

    I have this friend, and her little brother is really difficult. Drug-smuggling-in-jail-at-16-suicidal-abusive difficult. And yesterday he just up and left. He hasn't returned. 

    How do I help my friend with her anxiety?

      I agree with Aes Sedai, distraction would be a big help with something like that. If that fails, the best thing you can do is just be there for her. In my experience, nothing is so bad that having another human presence that cares about your existence won't help at least a small amount

      This friend is also suicidal... and a cutter, so I really hope I can find a way to help.
