Gone sighed quietly and, after hesitating, stood up.

"Thanks, Cufre." He looked at Tacien, then tried and failed to hide his distaste. "I... like it."

Gone stared at all the colorful clothes, somewhat overwhelmed. He grabbed a dark green cloak and a bright blue tunic with black leggings with a bright blue top hat, then put them on. His... his mother had often discussed how to look nice to his dad. Of course, she'd never talked to Gone, but that hadn't meant he couldn't hear. But he knew some things. He crawled out of the room, then bear-crawled to the main room, where he saw Cufre. "Is it good?" he asked.

"I'll try to get ready on my own, I think."

"What do they wear?"

Gone nodded. "If you can help me."

Gone quickly reached to hug Cufre. "I forgive you. I'm glad you're my friend." He let himself keep being hugged.

"Well, I'm not really upset. Just as long as I don't think about being alone for so long, I... I don't get angry or sad."

So, it mentions something about a shower in this book. Even the most technologically advanced planet, which is Scadrial, doesn't have showers... right? I haven't read all of Wax and Wayne, so I don't know. If this is resolved later in the book, don't tell me! I'm only 12% of the way through.

Oh, you should! It's sooo cool, especially if you like psychology. Its insight into people is fascinating, in my opinion.
