Of days closing

Rain pounding, the heartbeat of the world
Trees stooping in friendly supervision as great, bowing, gentle beasts
Sentries of the earth
Verdant stains on blue jeans
Waving hills of grass and rock

It felt as if it was there just for me
The whole world for me
The smell of home

Only one human knows what the original version of this looked like. I think I liked that one better. It was more personal too. And the conversation behind it was a very heartwarming experience for me. Thank you, that person.
