So, I just discovered the sonata in G minor for cello by Henry Eccles, and I think I'm in love.

The largo is gorgeous! I've been listening to it over and over for probably 10-20 minutes.

I can't put it into words, as is customary with myself. Please, for listen to it yourselves.

It makes me think of sadness, loneliness, fleeting happiness, and hope, somehow.

I'm just a little bit in awe right now, sorry if I raise anyone's expectations too high.
