  1. YESSSSSSSSSSSS Forgot if I said this or not, but or the record, I'm leaning toward V!Bip based on tone Edit: This game made sense to you once??
  2. So in an unfortunate turn of events, I was forced to sacrifice my sleep to fulfill the brotherly duty of picking my sister up from a movie theatre past midnight.

HOWEVER, this was a good thing! You see, I had randomly checked out Shadow and Bone from the Library earlier this week (I had seen it on the shelves and I had remembered seeing @Morningtide and @Elf say good things about it), and so I decided, on a whim, to do some reading while I waited.

I was very quickly captivated by the storytelling, the worldbuilding, the character arcs—everything! It was an entrancing novel and I could just not get enough.

IT WAS SO GOOD so I finished it as soon as I got home!

And I was so excited that I just had to share it with y'all :D

      Edema Rue

Literally though. Sometimes it's ok, like I love witty Jane Austen romances. And then there are some books that are just so good; good plot, good characters, scenes that make me laugh and scenes that make me cry. And then they throw certain stuff in. C'mon bro. I just want to read my book.

  3. Forgot to follow the thread Seems to be a good turn of events

  8. BEFORE WE BEGIN WITH THE NEXT ROUND OF RECORDINGS I'D JUST LIKE TO APOLOGIZE FOR MY TITLES In "Castaway" I embraced the drama. It's a ruined, smoking, CRUMBING castle for storming's sake. I kind of thought of this as the protagonist's call to adventure—her epic moment where she finally decides if she will be the heroine she was destined to be and redeem her older brother. For "Thunder Adventures" I used the upper registers of the piano for the rain and the lower BASS to communicate the enormity and grandness of thunder. It's pretty clear when the protagonist actually finds the village as the tone of the piece totally shifts, but I thought this one was really fun! "Glee" was genuinely uplifting. I really enjoyed the melody of this one. I think it's so filled with hope and joy and such good vibes that this is one of my favorites. (@CalanoCorvus part of me wants you to write lyrics and put it on spotify ) "Frozen Walk" is divided into two sections. The first part tells the story of "snow crunches" and "crystals shattering" "glittering even in death" then it calms down into "soft thumps [that] echo". This section builds a little bit until (how I picture it in my head, at least), the "camera" finally pans towards the warm cabin, alone among the frozen land. "Blankets of Snowflakes" is a peaceful piece (rhymey thing ) that in my opinion captures the carefree joy of admiring the beauty of a winter wonderland. I hope you enjoy! I made "Bowstring" a little jazzier just for some variety and I think it's a fun change. I know you love Archery, Wiz, so I tried to capture what it means to practice over and over again until you get it. I love the last line "and you can sleep soundly once more". And that's another round of prompts! I hope you all enjoy! Feel free to keep them coming. I can't promise they'll be done as promptly as this, but I'll do my best!

  19. Ahoy, me hearties! 'He names Rambleman. 'M here to spin you a yarn about me younger days when Oi was the scourge of the high seas. Not the lorw seas, mind yee. That was where they sent all the shtort folk. AYE, those were the days. Oi still remember when oi first mastered the ancient art of punning - sailing 'round the Caribbean oi'd shout out some of me best puns to the crew. They'd groan in frustration. Always. Heh. Heh. Heh. Most of the time, they'd leave me be, but then Oi started getting a bit cheeky. Oi'd choose the most ridiculous and outlandish puns, like when me and the crew were sailing during a storm - Oi shouted out, "The rain is pouring, so me crew must be BORE-ING!" The crew roared with laughter, and from then on Oi was our unofficial pun master. Oi remember one time when we the sun was setting. I said to me first mate, "YARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR" He screamed. Oi got him right and good. Another time when I spied a parrot perched in a tree, I said, "YARRRRRRRRRRRRR!" When it was time to eat, I declared, "YARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR" When me crew spotted an island in the distance, I said, "YARRRRRRR" When we saw a ship in the distance, I asked, "YARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR" When me crew was arguing amongst themselves, I said, "YARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR"
