  1. If we're talking lesser spren, probably either laughterspren (cause I like to laugh), logicspren (cause I like to think), or musicspren (cause I like music). For True Spren, I'd probably be a Cultivationspren because I really like improving myself and I set weekly and monthly goals. I think I would last about 8 months. Long enough to find someone worthy enough, yet long enough that the guilt would begin to crush me. I've always been a fan of lemon sherbet. I tried a Key Lime Pie flavor a couple weeks ago that I found particularly delicious. I'm not really a picky eater, but I'd probably have to go with this really gross sour clam thingy that I had on pizza once. That was disgusting. I don't even know what it was, to be honest
  2. Honestly, I kind of wish that I schooled year-round. It's probably an unpopular opinion, but I think it would work better for me
  3. The creative urges can be really intense! For me, it's also emotional, sometimes I need to go over to the piano and vent out all the stuff life's thrown at me recently. It's my way of de-stressing and processing my emotions. I wonder if you feel that way for art sometimes? My (somewhat) large family dislikes it... when I play at night, I usually opt for quiet and melancholy petering on the keys... if I start to play quietly when people are already pretty much asleep I don't get in trouble
  4. Anyone else have a ridiculous amount of summer work this year? It can't just be me It just can't
  5. We cannot play the roles in this thread. We must be better
  6. But are we willing to become what we must vanquish?
  7. ...It would have to be a long, meandering topic
  8. We only need about 10,500 more posts
  9. This one has to have been made before, but... it was inevitable.
  10. So I've been hanging out with my cousin all week, and I think I've infected him with Brandonfandonitis! He's read Mistborn eras 1 and 2, but today finally I sold him on WOK!! He borrowed my copy and will start on it ASAP :D

Also, he's seen me on the shard, and he's extremely intrigued, so in the near future we might have another member!

Anyone else randomly give Sanderson books to their friends for their birthdays in (not entirely) hopeless efforts to get them obsessed

  11. Oooh Windrunner, Ravenclaw, Zelda, fast reading, and 70+ book series? Awesome, dude! 9.5/10
  12. Wow, that's beautiful and expressive! Me too! For me, there's this time as the night starts when I feel the creativity rising and I feel emotionally/imaginatively charged. That's the time when I record my piano improvs. Do you experience this too? That is intriguing. I think it's interesting that though we say "I understand", we pretty much will never understand exactly what's going on. But we definitely become better through trying, and trying to understand another human being sometimes might help us understand ourselves better!
