  1. Just saw this I love it I pick.... Mallow, the highspren!
  2. Passersby stared as Orodal Somar limped down the street. His profile was marked by fine contrasts: ash-gray eyes starkly laid against jet black hair, a twisted leg unmistakable among a muscular, upright frame, a slack left arm that distinctly opposed a vigorous right. His distinguished features were elegant and sharp, but his visage was irrevocably marred by a series of ghastly scars that trailed across his left eye. Somehow, though, this added to his dignant mein, giving him an air of experience and wisdom. His clothes were dark and simple, with a mysterious emblem featured prominently on his left shoulder. A enormous blade rested along his back inside a silvery gray sheath that had writing sprawled along both sides of it. As Orodal hobbled forward, not one sound came from his impassive mouth until he opened the door. "May I have a room?" he asked.
  3. Silhouette yelped. "A dragon? Aren't those near impossible to defeat?"
  4. Silhouette gasped. "WOAH. Do you have that calibrated for time?" he asked.
  5. Silhouette turned red, embarrassed. "I guess it's just been a long journey. We all seem to be on edge. And we've been in this maze for forever." He looked up at Ember. "Is she in the maze? Or is there more to come?"
  6. "Are we even sure Wizard has a twin sister? He never really mentioned her before she magically appeared in the basement?" Silhouette sat up.
  7. "Guys!" Silhouette shouted. "Why are we arguing! Remember, we need to save Wizard's twin sister... what was her name, again?" He looked around and rexamined the environment. "Seems you've reached a consensus. Now, are we ready to go?"
  8. Silhouette narrowed his eyes. "Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm"
  9. Silhouette climbed out of the bag. "What's going on?"
  10. Ooh! This seems fun! Does it have to be a canonical Radiant spren? Or can I make up a character?
  11. You know, I've never considered myself a "dance" person, but I just got back from Prokofiev's ballet Romeo and Julliet and it was absolutely exquisite! I can't believe there are people out there who are that graceful, and I didn't realize how much personality could be expressed in dance! It was incredible

    1. Morningtide

      Morningtide

Dance is so expressive. I really enjoy watching it

  12. No problem! I think for me Wit is one of those characters that I love reading about but would be nervous about meeting in person. I love workplay a lot, but Wit is on a different level. He'd totally tear my words apart and roast me alive. (But it might be fun to see him to that to others ) Jasnah would love me or hate me. I'm studious and an avid learner, but she might just hate me.
  13. That's actually really impressive! I keep trying to get my friends to read Sanderson but they refuse to crack open the massive Stormlight books. The most common starting point is the Mistborn books, which are actually amazing as well! You should read those next (especially since there's one from the sequel series coming out this year). As @StormingTexan added, Warbreaker has some nice tie-ins to Stormlight, and probably is good to read while it's fresh in your mind. My dad also reads fantasy and I read ROW as soon as it came out then listened to the audiobook with him. There is quite an insane twist in this book, and the whole time I was squirming in my seat waiting for it to happen
  14. I also enjoy reading about their philosophies and deep thoughts (especially Wit's epilogues). And I do think Jasnah would appreciate them too According to coppermind, "Keen blue eyes"
  15. Silhouette's face twisted into a large smile. "Got to keep you guys on your toes. You'll never know what's hitting you, so be prepared for anything. Especially wacky idioms." He stepped into the sack elegantly, and disappeared. A voice called from within. I never lose foosball. Catch me another time. Perhaps before we begin adventuring again on the morrow?
  16. Galileo was actually an early conspiracy theorist???? Haven't played that one! I'll check it out
  17. You mentioned Hans Zimmer (who is incredible!). Favorite film score? Favorite film composer, while we're at it? Strings or Piano? Electronic or rock? Video game or elevator music?
  18. Silhouette got off of Nugget. "Well, you guys are all making me realize that I should hit the sack." Silhouette punched it and a few people groaned in pain. "Actually, I'll climb in too," he added after a moment's reflection.
  19. Silhouette started to laugh. When the other(s) looked at him, he shrugged."Guess I'm getting hysterical with all these twists in the maze"
  20. Favorite period of history? Niche fact not many people know (about history, yourself, anything)? Favorite RP genre?
  21. "Brilliant!" Silhouette glanced to the side, as Nugget scurried through the maze. "Where exactly are we going?"
  22. "Ohhhh, my mistake. For a second with all this crazy magic and all I thought that this fur had mystical, physical armor-type qualities"
  23. Silhouette climbed on and held tight to the fur. He noticed something strange once more. "Hey, guys?" he spoke aloud. "Why is this fur so sharp?"
