    Fun, and a good theory! That definitely covers the seethe... on the Emerald Sea. If that were the way the seethe, it would preclude the Midnight Sea having the Seethe, as it borders the Crimson Sea and four other seas that aren't Zephyr, Sunlight, or Verdant. However, since the spores are at least partially biological, it would make sense for them to contain glucose. It would just mean there's a different method of producing gas once the spores degrade.

    Unfortunately, as a member of an FRC team's design division, I have long since transcended the need for sleep. Brushing away such pitiful notions as "melatonin" and "insomnia," I jump in through the window of the pharmacy and land in slow-motion inside an expanding cloud of dust. Whirring by The Joy Formidable begins playing as I shout a witty one-liner and progress through an incredibly contrived platforming gauntlet, reaching the sandwich and snagging it just as the final chord hits.

    The Rock-Paper-Scissors match will be sung of in legend for centuries to come. The repercussions of the duel alter the very fabric of the universe. Any alien species coming to Earth will feel the echoes long after the human race becomes extinct. After a year and a day, I win the match when I call rock, summoning Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. With the power of immutable stone on my side, I claim victory, and the sandwich is my reward.

    Suddenly, for unexplained plot reasons, I gain a wellspring of power with no foreshadowing whatsoever. I use this to take the sandwich in an epic and cool fight scene before suddenly losing my new power and having a lot of angst about it.

    I sneak into the Aperture Science HQ, where they use the portal to the multiverse as a lore justification way to implement the Portal 2 level creator Multiversal Testing Initiative. It's no trouble for me to get the sandwich from there.

    261. Stare at someone you don't like while their back is turned. When they turn towards you, avert your eyes just slow enough to let them know you were watching them. Do this constantly, disguising your staring as reading a book or watching a video on your phone. When they start worrying, stop for a while and start again as soon as they relax a little. When they confront you about it, deny all charges and gaslight them about it. Imply that either a) they're insane or b) they're trying to find something about you to be mad about. Then you give it a short break and start again. When they finally end up complaining about you to someone else, act like you sincerely have no idea what your victim is going on about. Pretend to be bewildered but be amicable and agree to not do it again. Wait about seven minutes, recruit one of your friends to join you, and start again. Maybe put on a slight smile for the best effect. You can keep someone doubting their sanity and/or thinking they're the victim of a conspiracy for months this way. It's great.
