Yom Kippur is coming up! Yom Kippur is the most holy day on the Jewish calendar. Yom Kippur is a day of fasting from food and drink to repent for sins of the past year.

If you have a Jewish friend, please don't say "Happy Yom Kippur." Yom Kippur is not a happy holiday. "May you have a meaningful fast" is a better thing to say.
