I know I said that you didn’t have to earlier, but could you please draw Ryker?

Ryker struggled to not trip while careening down the stairs with a metal backpack on his back. He gasped with every heavy step. He paused for the moment trying to sense any high pressure sources near him, but all he could sense was his pack. Ryker couldn’t see steam pipes leading to an engineering hub. This left three options, all of them were bad for him. Either there were pipes buried deep in the walls and he couldn’t follow them, he went the wrong way, or he was in the wrong citadel. He thought on this for only a few seconds before hearing someone running behind him. He tried to run down the hallway of the floor he was on, but he soon realized his mistake. There were no windows on this floor, and he could hear multiple footsteps approaching.

The JWST is also an infrared telescope. This means it can see light that has traveled farther away and longer than that of what the Hubble can see. This allows it to effectively see farther into the past than the Hubble did.

“Yes!” Ryker cheered internally as he handed off the cylinder, and he took a step back. “I know you’re just doing your job and all, but I’ve really got a quota to fill.” Ryker said as he tapped into his magic. He felt the pressure inside the canister wanting to be free, and he helped release it. One end of the cylinder flew across the room, and a huge plume of smoke and steam soon followed, filling most of the floor. Ryker held his breath and dashed towards the stairs, and took the turn to go down farther. He really hoped that one of the steam engineering rooms would be down there.

“Got it.” He whispered back, following John.

“It’s this,” Ryker said with a sigh. He unclipped a metallic cylinder from his belt, and held it out to the man holding him at gun point. “Please take the bait.” he thought to himself.

“I…uh…yes?” Ryker stammered. He stumbled back from the shock the unknown person. “I’m one of the new interns for the engineering and flight maintenance programs.” he said not that convincingly. “I was sent here to get some…” he paused scanning the shelves for anything even remotely related to engineering, “industrial tape.” He blurts out, grabbing the tape off of one of the shelves of the broom closet. “I got lost once the fighting and shaking started. Could you please help me find my way back?” Ryker asked with hesitation. Just then another tremor shock the keep, and one of his broken lock picks fell out of the door, and onto the stone floor with a metallic tinkling. “Oh (insert world’s swear word here).” Ryker thought to himself.

Jared stared at Enshao with a flat look, and with dead serious said, “I pray to the great Thunderbird of the sky, and all other spirits out there, that the classes aren’t ever as long as that speech felt.”

Jared shot upright from his stupor, as the courtyard was filled with the sound of clapping at the end of the long speech. He quickly joined in the clapping, mostly because it was over. “Was that an hour, or a year long?” He asked Ben. @Trutharchivist

I was in middle school, and I had finished the LoTR series and was looking for something to read, and my Dad gave me his Mistborn books. I’ve now been reading Sanderson’s books for the past five years.
