Congratulations on your seventh pile.

"unintended" I'll reach out to Isaac right away and see if I can share those. I've been waiting to get the video done before I release everything, but it's probably better to just show you guys the photos as quickly as possible and deal with the video when @Overlord Jebus stitches it together.

Yeah, that's kind of where I stand on this.

RIP.

It is May 3rd. A day otherwise mostly unremarkable, except for a few things. One, it happens to be the National Wordsmith Day. But, coincidentally, it is also the day we are getting official Brandon Sanderson apparel on Amazon! And while that alone might be exciting to some, what's more important is that many of the designs are brand new! Check out this amazing First of the Sun/Sixth of the Dusk Symbol t-shirt, for example! Check out the designs here . There are tons of cool ones that are not on Brandon's store, like one that says, "Ask me about the Cosmere," a nice shirt with just the cosmere symbol on it, and other planet ones like Sel, Threnody, and more. Additionally, many of these shirts have many more colors than when these were just on Brandon's store. Check out how sweet the Stormlight Archive shirts look in new colors. Unlike Brandon's store, some of these designs have women's and kid's sizes as well! Keep that Amazon link handy, because there will be more coming in the (near?) future. So go. Stock up on Brandonswag. And, God Beyond help me, send someone to take my wallet away from me, because I am about to buy like 10 of those beauties... [Editor's note: I too am going to spend way too much money right now on these. -Eric]

(OB) Chemoarish and the Black Fisher
Argent replied to Toaster Retribution's topic in Stormlight Archive
The one theory I've had - and I don't think it was originally my own - is that Cusicesh is, in some way, Dai-gonarthis, the Black Fisher. Big spren, water theme, proximity to Aimia, and feeling of being drained after encountering it (something that fits nicely with Odium's theme of having people "give" him his feelings, but also with the Stormfather, so maybe it's just something natural to big spren) are all flimsy bits of evidence, but I am curious if they turn out to be of interest. -
@Chaos, whatcha thinking?
-
Brandon is generally okay with people doing things like as long as they don't sell them. So that's fine.
-
The problem with this theory - which has been popular at times - is that there is no more "Adonalsium Investiture." At the time of the Shattering, all Investiture in the universe became associated with one of the newly formed Shards. So if the Sibling existed back then, their composition would've changed somehow.
-
If it's not in Brandon's store, it's not a licensed vendor. So, ideally, there shouldn't be any.
-
The tree branch has been confirmed to be a branch from Yolen, I believe. The silver knife is widely believed to be just a knife from Threnody.

Introducing Myself. In This New Topic. Belatedly.
Argent replied to Zath's topic in Introduce Yourself!
Zath, Zath... where have I seen that nickname? -

All y'all better like me or I'll cry.

Amidst all the jokes, I would like to remind you all that double (or more) posting is frowned upon. If you post a reply, and then feel the need to add to it, please edit your already existing reply instead of posting a new one.

So, a quick update on Isaac's glyphs workshop. JordanCon people got back to me (after I sent them my audio), and pretty much said that as long as Isaac is okay with me sharing it (which he will be, since he was okay with me recording it), and I share with and give credit to JordanCon for this audio existing in the first place, I am okay posting it around. I am going to wait a little bit, get the videos from his panel stitched up, then run all of that by him, and then post it both here and to Arcanum. Oh, and I'll need to make sure I can share scans of the handout Isaac was... handing out. Depending on my schedule, we may get something this week, but next week+ is much more realistic.

They are far more mundane than anticipated anyway...
