    Welcome! I totally agree that the best way to read a book is to speed through it, comprehend nothing, then re-read it seven times and finally start to sort of get it.

    I always thought that the two sibling pairs were just raised together, like they Returned and then lived together long enough that their relationships were similar to sibling relationships.

    Honestly I don't even remember it that well, I think because it didn't really make an impact on me. Maybe if I re-read it it will land better but the first time through it didn't bring up much emotion in me. To be fair to the book though, I did really speed through Era 2 and now that I've re-read Bands of Mourning I do really like it.

    Cthaelth stands and stumbles, illusion flicking in and out of existence around her. She tries to move towards Rolen, tries to create more illusions but fails.

    Yeah, kind of. I hope that this book either concludes his story (Even if that means his death) or sets him up as a future Hoid like figure. Also, I completely forgot that it's coming out in like half a day. And now my brain has gone into panic mode and I can't turn it off.

    This just makes me feel like in this book Sigzil is going to reach a destination, get weak, and then die.
