From Pune, India.Lived all across the country.. Once called the Oxford of the east, now it's a headache to live here . And although it boasts to have a large amount of educational institutes - You can find almost any engg, medical or law book here. It seriously lacks a good fantasy section. You cannot find any Sanderson works other than his Wot books...

Here's a WoR Mini Review From a Beta Reader
ADIMORTIS replied to Shardbearer's topic in Stormlight Archive
I believe every single person who read that review is jealous of that person... -
Good point. But it has been mentioned that people came to Kharbranth from far away places for healing. And why would those spren suddenly appear to dying people, unless they were deathspren of sorts...

In my opinion, the person with the head of lines may be Taravangian. This maybe taking place in his 'Hospital' where they remove the blood slowly. Taravangian is old enough to be referred by having a head of lines....

It seems that I am in the minority that liked the head band..

His right arm just seems odd-ish.. And the facelooks somewhat baby-ish... The Rambodin was better...

This is the new cover. Peter did say that this is the second version and the third version may be the final one... Personally I prefer the previous one.

It is the nature of the magic. A broken soul has cracks into which something else can be fit. Surgebindings, the powers of creation themselves. They can brace a broken soul; but they can also widen its fissures. Why is it the power of creation ??

Does Teod have it's own unique magic system or is it the same as that of elantris? -
As a fellow Indian , I can completly understand your situatio about not having a single Sanderson book in bookstores. His only books that can be found are his WoT works. While those are good his other works are never to be found. Not even a single one. Nor can one find Scott Lynch ,Pat Rothfuss or Brent Weeks... The only books belonging to these authors nearby are mine which had to be ordered online..and they are pretty costly.. Seriously worried about getting WoR on time.. And now circling back to the topic at hand.. Well in my opinion Sanderson's books don't sell as much (comparing to HP and its kin) is the fact that you can't actually classify his books as YA (except Steelheart). I found that the YA genre was redefined with the coming of HP with people of all ages reading it. Other books rose in it's wake and were basking in its popularity. While I do like Paolini's work (except for the last book). I sincerely doubt that if it had been released before HP it would have reached to a stage of popularity it has now. As for Fifty shades all I can say is that Sex sells... And now , back to waiting for WoR... (Last draft is on 99% now )

I doubt that Moash would be a bastard son of a lighteye. In the chapter "Fear" he says this.. “I’d surrendered my plans, but you’ve returned them to me. I’ll guard you with my life, Kaladin. I swear it to you, by the blood of my fathers" If he wanted his father dead,I doubt that he would swear by it.....

Where is the Hell described in the prologue?
ADIMORTIS replied to Swimmingly's topic in Cosmere Discussion
At present the best guess is the planet Braize. In a Q and A he mentioned that Odium is on that planet, which is situated in the greater Roshar system -
I wad really shocked. Read the last few chapters again to make sure I read it right....

“Every man is a hero of his own story.” ― Warbreaker “I swear, my dear. Sometimes our conversations remind me of a broken sword." She raised an eyebrow. "Sharp as hell," Lightsong said, "but lacking a point.”

Can anyone ask this ques, "Why is seeing into the future considered bad in vorinism , Is it because Odium is good at seeing into the future or is it somehow derived from honor- who is not good at peering into the future"

1. Immortal Characters- I love immortal characters. Their descriptions, depth of character, history makes them awesome. I l;ove the fact that Sanderson made them crazy in some sort or the other... 2. Plot - I love the plot of the book. It's beautiful . There are sometimes when the boo becomes ever so slightly whiny, but the way each story arc for the characters end is perfect. One of my favorite plots.I especially love the prelude of Wok.(Though purely on the basis of plot, I'll partial to Storm of Swords-Especially the seond half) 3 Future Scope- This is one of the series where I am really interested i theorizing. And I doubt any other series has so many theories for the upcoming books. 4 Magic System- The three lashing are my favourite magic system. They have overtaken the awesomeness of allomancy for me. Only Sanderson can write a magic system based on pressure and gravity . 5.The letter- The book has a bloody letter in it. How awesome is that... 6. Artwork and cover- No need to explain this. Everyone loves it...
