  1. So...signing reports?
  2. There'a a bit too much grabby hands about it all, anyway. Get some sleep. Pretty sure people can actually wait.
  3. A pita filled with meatballs sounds great.
  4. That bit about Nightblood being a "third generation" blade... it makes me wonder if Honorblades have any sentience at all and what that sentience might be?
  5. There will be a kickstarter for it in the fall of this year, and it releases next year at some point, I guess.
  6. Gameplay description and (positive) feedback here.
  7. More pictures here: https://www.facebook.com/craftygames/timeline/story?ut=43&wstart=0&wend=1441090799&hash=-2828870645119974747&pagefilter=3
  8. For what it's worth, there is an 8-bit depiction of Nightblood that presumably had input from BS: http://store.brandonsanderson.com/8-bit-szeth-t-shirt/?page_context=category&faceted_search=0 It has an angular double sided cross guard, which might be considered "hooked."
  9. I got sent .doc files, but maybe he's changed it. It did take a long time (months) for a response but others have reported responses within days. I'm sure it has something to do with traveling. For instance, he's overseas right now.
  10. Edit: My iBook was updated to the new tweaked version yesterday (at least that's when I was notified the update was available in iBooks.
  11. I remember the excerpt. I had no idea there are hints it's novella length. Perhaps that Cosmere novella collection Brandon mentioned might be where it shows up.
  12. @Weiry I have no idea what "the Jasnah novella" is in reference to. What did I miss??
  13. I get updates all the time on BS works in iBooks. Words of Radiance has had a few. One major example is when Emperor's Soul was updated to include the alternate prologue scene. Unless the team points them out, i tend to ignore the updates, though. Will be sure to look for this WOR update, though! Regarding... this idea that somehow BS is rewriting history: they are his characters and if he never was quite happy with the action of one of them, I'm fine with him changing it. I'm not positive it majorly changes how I view Kaladin at all. The Cosmere implications seem like they will be dealt with in another book. I don't particularly see this as a "Han Shot First" situation. I think it's because we know BS was under a lot of pressure to get WOR out and he may have rushed something he wasn't happy with because he couldn't afford any more time. Lucas changed his mind decades later and never implied he was unhappy with his originals until 20 years later.
  14. Just for the record, I didn't mean my comment to be a slight against your questions, but rather a revelation for me. Cosmere-wise, I'm just not as...invested*...in Mistborn systems. *couldn't think of a better word so just went with the pun.
  15. Thinking with portals lol. I admit the minutia of Mistborn questions always bores me in signing reports but this stuff was pretty fascinating.
  16. I don't think anyone reading WS would come to that conclusion. Something to note: the draft BS sends out is only the first volume of a trilogy, so it's only a 3rd of the overall story. That said, when BS first said that Khriss is the most Cosmere knowledgeable, it immediately made sense for her to be the AAA.
  17. BS has already gone on record (his site, twitter, Facebook) saying they will try to reschedule, so this poll seems a little moot.
  18. He contradicts himself about which book he will write after Calamity. At first he says SA3, then says Dark One when that book is asked about. Really hoping the "new hotness" effect doesn't keep pushing SA back. Seems like there is always some new book being added before SA volumes. EDIT: Maybe he's not... he does qualify Dark One as being the "next book for Random House" so that doesn't actually say next after Calamity, after all.
  19. I'm impressed that Brandon let that Shardplate hint out, actually. Until now, he's been very RAFO on most Shardplate origin questions. I guess someone finally asked the right question.
  20. While I don't disagree it's in somewhat poor taste, there is a significant contingent of fans (like me) that came to Brandon through Wheel of Time -- A long running and involved story that experienced much theorizing and looked like it may not get resolved. So...it's not exactly unreasonable. As I mentioned, I'm not much younger than Brandon so the thought "I hope I personally live long enough to read all this" has certainly crossed my mind.
  21. Wow, I just read this will be available on Mac...I've gone from ignoring the whole topic to excited about it with that tidbit. Edit - Hmm maybe not. The latest press release doesn't mention Mac, but it previously was announced as such. Odd.
  22. Well let's start the speculation: https://twitter.com/BrandSanderson/status/550075550853636096/photo/1
  23. Brandon is 39. If we have 30 years of Cosmere left, we better home this list doesn't grow much with new projects. He seems so pragmatic that I have to believe he has a date at which his focus will shift towards completing priority series (SA, Mistborn, Dragonsteel). (Glad I'm 2 years younger than him!)
  24. Very curious about the two unnamed Cosmere series that need to be done before final Mistborn trilogy. What in the world are those? It seems that everything is accounted for, right? White Sand, Dragonsteel, Silence Divine. The only thing I could think of is that one of them is the pre-Dragonsteel duology about Hoid. I hope so, because I've always loved the feeling of Liar of Partinel.
