  1. Storms, I hoped to come further than just clue 2! Yes, it's Tien, your turn!
  2. Nope Nope Not Ham Not Clubs 1. This character was a soldier 2. This character was an optimist.
  3. Yay! And nice choice! 1. This character was a soldier
  4. Hauka? But I'd call Lift and Nale both major characters...
  5. I guess it depends on what you mean with "finish". I am still positive that there will be the planned 10 SA books. And the same with the planned Mistborn books, even though it will be quite some time till we get to read them. But all in all, Brandon Sanderson is still young and if fate is willing, also has lots of time to get the stories done the way he wants to. Compared to fans of George R.R. Martin, we got it easy. Also, I really don't mind the non-Cosmere books, since I enjoy those too. But I can understand that readers who don't feel that way might be annoyed with every new book that doesn't add to the Cosmere. Still it feels like unjustly complaining when it's pretty openly communicated that the book after is a Cosmere book again.
  6. @Szeth_Pancakes: You still with us?
  7. Yes, I do know quite a few "hints" already. Or better: still, because I learned a lot while hiking with my family as a kid. My aunt handpicked the tours so that they were never too hard or too long for me. Sometimes she went with my big brother on tours with her usual group (lovingly called "The sprightly pensioners") and despite my brother being at the top of his game, they always lagged quite a bit behind. Those 70 to 90 years olds were storming fit! Being on short hikes with my family was always really great. I always found it much more fun than just visiting a city or any other sort of vacation. Luckily my husband has the same mindset and my big girl loves the outdoors too. When my little one is a bit older, we will definetly start with small tours. For now she likes taking a small walk to a forest nearby, but she gets tired after about 1 hour and wants to go home then. Often very loudly (the usual way of the 2 year old). But all in all she really likes being there. I am positive that I can pass this love for hiking on to them! Nope, it's a german videogames forum. Aptly called "The old Maniac Forum" (There is a new forum but it also fits the average age). Maybe those two meet and get to talk about their internet hangouts.
  8. Thank you! I can't give you enough upvotes for that... I really would have missed it!
  9. Thanks, but I'm good. If you really don't want to and no one else likes to try, I'd go again but I'd rather give someone else the chance.
  10. Hey, @Bejardin1250, your turn!
  11. A few week back there was a poll if "we" would buy leatherbounds in the store if they were not signed but readily availible. I guess that would mean that every leatherbound was signed before. You can check out the last few weekly updates either on YouTube or the transkripts on brandonsanderson.com to get the original wording in case I remember that one wrong.
  12. Nice choice and good clues! Would not have gotten this one, though. Have fun on your holiday!
  13. Taravangian if you squint a bit...
  14. It's a tough question. My daughter is 7 and I would say that she is more than 2 years away from being ready for The Reckoners, but not all kids are the same. The thing that might be the most problematic in my estimation would be the overall very dark tone of the books. People often die violently and the whole world is constantly in fear. But I guess you can predict how your son handles things like that better than I do.
