Birthday parties are so much fun!

I went to a friend's one tonight. I've known him for like 6-8 years now, though there was a four year gap where I didn't see him at all. I got to see a guy who I haven't seen in four years there! Like AHHHH. I got to quote him with the thing that he said once that stuck with me all these years lol.

Everyone there understood all the references, the studio c ones, the Star Wars ones, the church ones, the Disney ones... OH! And we watched the Princess Bride!

This was the kind of thing I needed to lift my spirits up higher.

Also, I have a dire question...

What do you do when there are two girls you know who both are into books, both are cute, both get all the references and just are awesome? 

Actually, I'll most likely just not do anything about it besides try to be friendly and have conversations when new books come out and throw around banter like at the party tonight-

That works, right?
