  1. Wow. Impressive! I'm not entirely sure I'm a good source for whether this is true or not, but it seems accurate to me!
  2. When you type a V into you texting and the first suggestion is Vorin.
  3. That noble in Elantris whose name I can't remember right now?
  4. Yes! Good guesses everyone!
  5. Not Tanavast Not Lessie Not Kelsier Not Parlin Not Tien Not Vin Not Gavilar Not Sazed Not Waxillium This character dies This character is betrayed This character had an important mission regarding the fate of the world This character is religious This character saves the life of a main character
  6. I have the same problem! I tried to write a book, which turned into a trilogy, and now I only want to think/write about the last book!
  7. Oooh nice. Veil is the best. Also, BTW, we typically try to avoid double posting on the shard, there is an edit button for a post if you want to add something. Don't worry about it though, I did it all the time when I joined.
  8. Nice to meet you too!

  12. Ok, I'll go. This character dies
  13. Wow. That last sketch looks exactly like one of the characters in the book I'm writing!!! His name is Leaf. These are all so incredible. I have always wanted to be able to draw like this.
  14. I don't see Kelsier turning into a spren as a viable option. It seems to me that he is stubborn enough to find some sort of purpose, even without a body. Seems like him to just go wandering off the the cognitive realm of Threnody and finding a way to become Ambition or something. Basically, Kelsier is too persistent to be reduced into just a basic intent without any semblance of sentience. (haha semblance of sentience )
  15. Not exactly the same, but it gave me the same idea. Again, similar idea. They aren't really related to the topic, but I came across them very recently, so they were on the forefront of my mind. It just made me think that if copperclouds affected how spren act and a listener's ability to hear rhythms, they would probably interfere with Light's ability to hear rhythms.
  16. You're welcome and nice list! I wonder if Rlain, now that he is also an enlightened Truthwatcher, will also be invisible to future sight. Renarin is one of the most fascinating characters imo. He went from an apparently unimportant side character to one of the most important characters in the books! Can't wait until Stormlight 7 and his flashbacks...
  17. Interesting. I think what it really comes down to is whether or not the person in question thinks of Savanthood as part of them. If they see it as something foreign, maybe useful, maybe dangerous, they could probably be healed. If they see the savanthood as part of who they are, that's a different story.
  18. This seems to fit with some WOBs that I have read recently. I think it's a good theory! It makes sense that there would be ways for different magic systems to overlap like this.
  19. I don't know if this has been mentioned before, but my random Sanderson thought of the day was about Renarin. In Way Of Kings, it was always being stated that Renarin should become a Stormwarden. Stormwardens are the only people in Vorin culture who are allowed to tell the future, even just the little bit that they do. My thought was that this was totally foreshadowing for Renarin's arc where he becomes an enlightened Truthwatcher and can tell the future. Thoughts? If this has already been discussed before, just point me in the right direction!
  20. YKYASFW you're in English class and scoffing at all of the examples the teacher gives for foreshadowing because Brandon is the king of foreshadowing.
