  1. Because that’s what I was discussing it’s an opinion that I completely disagree with I don’t need to counter it because it’s wrong
  2. Why would he think “ oh so I’ll go and kill everyone by myself since you have no one else now You have made it abundantly clear that you hate the Child Champion you don’t have to repeat it every 10 posts
  3. Whatever happens that war will happen. He wants Dalinar to be a preliminary emissary not an assassin to kill everybody in the Cosmere
  4. All he says is “To serve my own goals” That can mean many many things
  5. Why would millions die? TOdium won’t send him on a 1vCosmere because Dalinar will lose. He joins the Fused, saves Roshar. And Dalinar probably knows that if he doesn’t do if someone else will and they could be worse
  6. Has nothing to do with willingness. Gavinor can even think he’s accountable for what he’s doing. But he’s not Yes I do think that we will not have him in the back 1/2 The most Anti-Climactic thing to happen will be: Some random guy like Szeth or El will be Odiums champion. Dalinar fights them for a few minutes and then wins. Why would anyone want to read that?
  7. The age of understanding is under the age of accountability, Gavinor can understand but is not able to be held accountable. What? Odium checkmating Dalinar to becoming his Emissary or freeing Odium?
  8. Yes. Yes it is, children are exceptions to the rule but they still can be the Champion through dirty tricks To save his nephews life
  9. Children can be aware of what they are doing, but you still don’t hold them accountable. A child doesn’t deserve to die if he makes a mistake, he can be willing and still be innocent what does anyone on Roshar care if Odium goes on to attack other planets? If it means saving his nephew he will make that sacrifice that will keep everyone he loves and knows safe
  10. When a child is convinced to do something that isn’t the child’s fault. There isn’t enough stakes for Dalinar to kill Gavinor. He’ll lose Alethkar, sure. But the Singers need a place to go anyway. They could kick them out but then your right back where they started, hate against the singers. And a “trail of tears” type exodus that will leave thousands dead. What? Who’s says Dalinar won’t lose? Why would TOdium let his entire contest rest on the fate of a normal duel. That’s a kinda 50/50 shot. It’s pretty obvious TOdiums gonna pull a fast one. Heir to what? If TOdiums wins Alethkar will be a meaningless country with no land
  11. I doubt the Internet will still exist.. 1051
  12. No 1: This character is from Roshar 2: This Character has traveled a large amount of Roshar 3: This character is a high ranking Gov. official 4: This character has been to Shinovar
  13. Ha! I’m learning the same thing my test is next week. My teacher is really confusing about it but he finally settled down on it needs to have its own cells to be Biotic. ( So stuff made from Biotic things aren’t Biotic like a nature valley bar) So does the Stormfather have cells? I would say not. So Abiotic But a Shard would be Biotic. But would it be like 10% biotic and 90% abiotic? I wonder...
  14. Anyone have a favorite pastime?
  15. Nope! Ok easier clue time ( since not a lot of people seem to be active...) 1: This character is from Roshar 2: This Character has traveled a large amount of Roshar 3: This character is a high ranking Gov. official
  16. I actually did write an essay for my English class that had the Wandersail crew being the SLoaIS but I was thinking they were some lost sect of Radients perhaps for the back half Other than that... the Shin, everything is the Shin
  17. Well I’m glad to see someone has a different opinion than me! Along with many, many other people
  18. Seeing as they think Taravangian is dead that is highly unlikely
  19. If he believes that Dalinar is the reason his father is dead. Saying “I refuse to fight” might suffice. If not I could see him killing himself with Nightblood
  20. he wants to avenge his father no matter the costs. And Dalinar letting Gavinor dying of thirst is the same as killing him so he won’t do that. He will either forfeit, or kill himself ( maybe with Nightblood...) I totally get this theory is unpopular here, I’ll stick with it and I’ll enjoy the book whatever happens. @Szeth_Pancakes Two things 1: Part of the contract is that both Chanpions are left unharmed 2: If Dalinar sends Jasnah this will be the same as killing Gavinor for him
  21. He literally had a conversation where Dalinar said he would refuse to kill innocent people to save others from dying. ( I’m pretty sure that’s what the Conversation is about) He would be completely sure that Dalinar wouldn’t kill Gavinor And he was present for the death rattle “So the night will reign for the choice of honor is life” Why would TOdium let everything lie on a duel that could go either way. With a child you checkmate Dalinar and either way Forfeit Or suicide Odium wins
