An old-school Bioware-styled game that takes place during the final Desolation(s). Depending on what the players choose to do, they end up in a different Radiant group and have a slightly different story. In this case, it's more like Bioware's MMORPG Star Wars: The Old Republic. In that game, players can choose the class, and that dictates which story is told. From there, they can make storyline decisions and whatnot. I think that this would be a hybrid of the two - choosing which Order would shape the story path, but the choices along the story would also be more impactful than they apparently are in (most of) SWTOR.
Meeting the Heralds would also be a major part, as we'd get to know them a little better through the Desolation(s). After the final battle and Taln's death, the Heralds would proclaim that the Desolations are over, and that humanity had won.
...a post-credit scene would appear later, showing eight of the Heralds departing, with Jezrien staying behind, stating that he would "bear this burden." We see the Heralds drop their swords into the dirt, say their goodbyes to Jezrien, and walk away.
Gameplay notes:
The Companions would be people of different Orders, ethnicities, and races.
Getting all five Oaths shouldn't be seen as the main objective, as the game should be perfectly completable with three or so...depending on the Order. However, challenges for completing the game under the "Standard" amount of Oaths may be a fun thing to add.
Gameplay itself would probably function more like a hack-and-slash or Musou/Warriors style game, where players can feel like gods against normal mooks. However, when Fused and other enemies start appearing, things would get complicated.
I love SWTOR and this would be awesome!
You honestly should send this over to BioWares idea department, I would buy it in a heartbeat
You could also have a storyline where your a Fused and then your storyline is killing Taln in Ahertiem…

Rashek was 1,500 years ago and did use the stormin Well of Ascension to become the LR so he would be more of an outlier than the rule so it would still be abnormal for a commoner to become the Governor
And as Aspiring said Rashek saved humanity from destruction continuously for 1,000 years with all his programs and hiding the Atium. That line in TFE was supposed to sound egotistical then and than make sense in HoA when you realize that he did do a lot for humanity

He was on the southern continent in the Physical Realm around ten years after the Catacendre, so a pretty long time.
Completely forgot about this but it doesn’t affect the overall point

For centuries? Kelsier is a great man, but he is a man.
He’s actually been a bit less for some time and we don’t know when he acquired a body
And he loves Mare to much

A lot of other things seem weird in the story too: like the bad guy turning into a Mesa
I assume Ma made the entire story up including the fact he was a Mistborn, which would lower his age in AOL since he could have gained fame quickly while young

I came here to join the discussion that was surely happening about the released prologue, and I surprised to see there wasn't one. Am I looking in the wrong forum? Are we not supposed to talk about it yet because Spoilers? Or is the Shard just going through a real slow couple of days?
I’m pretty sure you can discuss it if you put it under a spoiler though I’m not sure…
And the Shard is really going through a slow period, yes
w&w4 spoilers
SpoilerThere’s also not that much to discuss

Unless I'm doing something wrong google traduction seems to agree https://translate.google.com/?hl=en&sl=auto&tl=en&text=סכל&op=translate
Am I doing something wrong?
Yes
could be pronunciation or could be something else but סכל roughly translates to “one who has the campacity to use intelligence and does” (or smart person but that doesn’t work either) that’s a very rough translation
