If you take it that way, which I don't think most people do. I personally think Sunlit, if not the earliest SP, is at least before Tress, which I think is likely the last in world. And that is a very long time to run from an organization as powerful as the Night Brigade seems. But on the other hand, Hoid did say Sig has seen more of the Cosmere than him, which should be a feat that should take some time. So while we should definitely be posting these questions to Brandon when the spoiler stream rolls around, I don't think there's any way to know in the near future.

Well, that's a bare minimum to be older than the Greater Good. I got the impression that he was approaching or had just surpassed his hundreds and was somewhere in the 95-120 range, but that's pure guesswork.

Relative Timing of the Secret Projects
The Unknown Medallion replied to Oltux72's topic in Cosmere Discussion
That's roughly my guess. He takes his Oaths in SA5/SAGap, gets the Dawnshard maybe in SA5, probably in SA6/7 in a sort of Everstorm style big event, then bonds Aux in the 7-9 period, then absorbs him. Or the alternative: Sig swears the 4th, has to take the Dawnshard as the end of SA5, bonds Aux over the break, has him for "decades" before absorbing him sometime in the back half. Don't think we can really know until after SA5 though. -
I feel that, with how he seems to be jumping around, these are things that a scientifically minding Sigzil could just find out. He does say that he's older than the Greater Good, which puts him at least in his eighties by my guess. He's what, late thirties as of Stormlight? If Hoid of all people thinks Sig has seen more of the cosmere than himself, that's at least a couple decades bouncing around. Which leaves the gap between the halves of SA, then a short few years doing something I suppose. Could be studying Arcana, could be something else. I am starting to agree with you though, thinking over the "when you first learned they were chasing you" line. I don’t think that would be written that way if it was immediate.

Sunlit Man Full Book Reactions (Cosmere Edition)
The Unknown Medallion replied to Chaos's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Don't know where the Coppermind is getting that from, but still, an extra 20,000 Breaths should still be able to bruteforce connection to at least one place, if not the whole Cosmere. -
Sunlit Man Full Book Reactions (Cosmere Edition)

It is, but like I said, twice the amount of power feels like it should be able to brute force the same effect. -
It's implied he's been running for decades, you can pick a lot up in that time. But my assumptions could definitely be wrong. I just thought that was the implication, and it seemed to be supported by him having almost hodgepodge knowledge. He could have also learned those things while on Roshar one way or another. That would be a good answer to both of our suppositions.

I agree with everything up to five. Afterwards, who knows. I got the impression that the Night Brigade was pretty much always chasing him, but that could be faulty.

Relative Timing of the Secret Projects
The Unknown Medallion replied to Oltux72's topic in Cosmere Discussion
I mostly agree on this, especially as Tress is supposed to be pretty far future. Not sure about your point on using Aon Tia though. My biggest question is really where SP4 falls in relation to the front and back half of Stormlight. -
Sunlit Man Full Book Reactions (Cosmere Edition)
The Unknown Medallion replied to Chaos's topic in Cosmere Discussion
This was a very good story. Definitely beat out Tress and FWHB, though not quite YatNP. YatNP is simply too different of a story to truly compare, but I think I still prefer Sunlit Man because it's simply more my kind of book. This is probably the best character arc I've seen in any single book, like, ever, and rivals most series long character arcs. The only one I can think of that comes close is Cal's in the Licanius Trilogy, and Sunlit's other elements are far better. Also, I've calculated that Zellion/Sigzil can skip with the equivalent of just under 20,000 Breaths. Which makes me think that Susebron, with 50,000, should be able to do the same thing. Even if the Dawnshard is helping, he should be able to brute force it with more than double the amount. Just find that interesting. Kinda a relatively small amount when you think about it. Definitely interested in what the future of the Cosmere and especially Stormlight 5 has to hold. Unless it gets confirmed otherwise, I'm guessing Sig is going to get into the upper oaths with his honorspren in SA5, then bond the Dawnshard either at the end or during the back half, but either way I think bonding Aux is going to happen in the back half. Anyone disagree? Other notes, the Night Brigade felt pretty suitably terrifying and bastardly. The Scadrians (Southern, I think it's going to matter a lot going into space age cosmere) felt arrogant and cold with just a touch of evil. -

I guess nothing special happens when the list is correct. Or I guess it could be wrong, but I kinda doubt it. -

Yeah, I'll confirm what Archer is saying. I have the standard Soother ability of simply subtracting a vote (should note that this effects train not individual), or I can choose to move a vote, but this will cause my vote to be removed. Edit!: wait no, I'm dumb! Apparently I was misreading my PM. I checked again, and I can subtract a vote like I thought, but my other ability is to add a vote, in which casemy vote is removed. So for the confusion. @Archerso you don't miss this. I'm pretty sure this reveals the mystery Soother here. -

When I put in the order to soothe, it was 3/3/2, with me being tied. Not trusting it to a coinflip when I can save a confirmed villager with my manip. -

I'd agree that this is just an inherent disagreement that kinda stops mattering at this point, so yes, let's agree to move on. -
Mid-Range Game 65: Set on Infiltration
The Unknown Medallion replied to Experience's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Nuh uh. That is exactly the opposite of what's been going on. I really do not like the way you seem to be trying to twist this. You have consistently been claiming that me and Araris have taken the easy way out that limits discussion. Really don't like this post, but I don't think I'll vote you for it yet because this could just be a misunderstanding. -
Mid-Range Game 65: Set on Infiltration
The Unknown Medallion replied to Experience's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I'll just go ahead and say, as information helps the village disproportionately in blackouts, I did in fact Soothe the vote back when the votes were tied. Well, honestly, I'm not surprised either despite my vote. My vote was pretty much purely informational. So, going off the new list, I'd agree that the top two that aren't exed are put as elims, and probably also agree that there's some extra wincon nonsense going on with the list. -

I mean I was alive for two days, but was near completely absent for one and a half of the days. Should note that my recent games show that this is at worst NAI, and at best v!indicative.
