  1. Mostly the Raven kill. I think I'm going to go Araris, as a part of my earlier JNV, Araris, Ash team. I'll try to re-lookover my findings sometime tonight.
  2. I generally find it a bit hard to read you. You, Devo, Araris, you all kind of just play the same regardless and I'm bad at noticing whatever tells there are. Kas seems to have a pretty good handle on it so I like to borrow from him at least where you're concerned.
  3. I find it curious that Neil did the exact same test as me, but then got barely any information from it, meanwhile I got three elim teams in two worlds and a host of not e/e pairs. Almost enough to make me want to vote them again. But I won't, cause if JNV doesn't die then a solid chunk of my work is lost. I am thinking I'll go Neil off of a v!JNV flip.
  4. *reading and vote checking /shrug I was really out of it that game, so I don't really remember. They generally are more active when evil but rl's gonna rl. So, I felt the votes today were weird and I looked at them under two suppositions, trying to find the elim teams. I know, nothing not done before, but it helped me and I think it can help all of us a little. C3's votes and who I think they point to. In conclusion, my elim team guesses are e!JNV=JNV, Araris, Ash, v!JNV=Neil, Ash, Coffee/Araris, Ash, Illwei. I think we should go one of Araris or JNV today, and as there is already a train on JNV, (Neil) I will join it. I would like to do the same thing going through with v/e!Araris, but I wouldn’t get any significant insight from this cycle, and I don't want to nor do I have the time to go through previous ones. Here's my extra in-depth VC that I made for this.
  5. I should note, had I been on and caught up in time for rollover c2, I almost certainly would have voted Cash. Take that as you will and place as much trust in it's verity as you would like.
  6. I question how anything!Aeoryi is cool with self voting period after that. I think a good case could be made for sk!Aeoryi not caring because it only affects her, but I would hope neither v! nor e!Aeoryi would do it.
  7. Hmm. My apologies, I must have missed it. I like this, not that I was voting you anyways. I think this is going to stick my vote on Neil then. I could maybe be convinced to Araris/Aman, but I haven't noticed anything about them or really seen anything convincing myself.
  8. The thing is, just stating names is kind of 'just.' There isn't that much village work. Sure there's some on Aman but not much asides from that. I, personally, would accept just some more quantity reads wise, but I do think as a villager about to be exed, you are obligated to make the best defense you can. I don't always follow that obligation as well as I would like, but I try. Except... it does equate. Maybe not on a literal level, but it does on a practical level. But we've established that we have significantly different thought processes in the past, so I'll also stop this here.
  9. Well, you should be doing both. It's not an either or situation, and she's not really doing either. Sure there were some reads, but there's nothing really in depth to or about them. Edit: I appreciate that me and Coffee pretty much keep ninja'ing each other saying roughly the same thing.
  10. Because, if she's village, then she knows that an exe on her is a misexe, and is therefore bad. Helping your team is getting an elim exed instead of a villager, and voting yourself and giving up less than halfway through the cycle isn’t that.
  11. Not what I meant. I meant our own overlap of interests. Could be elim+decent chance of SK=slightly better than normal exe. Though I actually disagree with that statement. SK is a very hard role, and elims are our mortal enemies, so I'd probably prefer them over the elims. That was partly joking, but as someone who has been completely excluded, partly included, and pretty deep with towncores or something very similar, it's incredibly effective, but not really fun even for those within it. Hence why I'll oppose the idea to start one, but support one once it's made. Estamos todos elims.
  12. I realize it's mostly irrelevant now, but I don't care if you exe me before c3. If you gotta you gotta, but I do kick into gear right about now. So, I very much do not disagree with the Aeoryi exe, but for the sake of diversity, I'd like to float the idea of a potential Neil train. It is seeming more likely that at least one of the trusted few is unworthy of trust. Neil also fits my model for an SK, so I think this a case where interests kind of overlap. I'd also be happy with Aeoryi, but I think she's slightly less likely to be SK, and either the same or less likely to be elim. Plus she's got a good number of votes already from what I've seen. I'll try to be around to discuss some more today, but it might be awhile. I should be around a ton tomorrow though.
  13. That's very fair, and I kinda figured that's what you were doing. I just was working through it in my head, then was like 'but none of this matters, village beggars can't be choosers.' Yeah, can't really play too much with distro meta, but it's there in the back of my mind. Definitely agree, something's off. I'm leaning towards Neil being more of a candidate upon sleeping, though Cash is still up top I think.
  14. Hmmm. I might be willing to vote Cash then. We'll see how I feel tomorrow, cause I'm not sure about the distro decision of putting an SK in his hands. Would appreciate you weighing in on that. Also, I keep remembering then forgetting so I'll say it now. You asked me what I thought about the SK earlier, and upon thinking about it basically all day, I've got a slightly controversial answer. I'm not sure exactly how the player counts work out, but exing the SK will reduce the amount of deaths (specifically village deaths) greatly. This, combined with the fact that vote analysis will be very helpful for finding the eims later rather than earlier, suggests to me that perhaps it might be better to kill the SK earlier if given the choice. I feel that the elims will reveal themselves more later than the SK will. But on the other hand, SK is a very difficult alignment to win with and doesn't count for wincons, so we could get away with ignoring them a bit. I also slightly doubt the value of these discussions and think we should just be exing whoever is least likely to be vil. I suppose I was conflating your kill analysis a bit with Ash's, who very explicitly us only looking for the person who made the decision to make the kill rather than just who would let it slide. I think that's what this paragraph is getting at but I think I'm losing my reading comprehension rn. Quite understandable since I've been doing it a ton. I doubt it's a show, Ookla season isn't much easier for beginners than it is for the rest of us. Not sure exactly. Think it's probably a pretty basic low info kill, which means by definition there's not much I can get from it, maybe check with me again tomorrow, cause I'm definitely getting tired beyond the point of usefulness.
  15. Let me check the player list. I think Raven (new Raven that's been nked a lot) is pretty likely to be the SK kill. As for SK identity due to that kill choice, prob Wiz, Aeo, CC/Silber, Neil, and Cash. Putting Wiz and Cash lesser options because I have the least credences, Aeo as being slightly less credible cause I feel like it, Silber is protected. Remind me, Cash is newish or returning, right? A couple games in? And thanks, I might need it. Is he one of the ones voting me? Is that what you mean? Pretty much /shrug if that's what you're talking about. If not, please clarify I'll try to get you a better answer. If Mat were playing, he probably would have been included in that list of people that I would have liked to kill. I'm not sure that can be used as really any indication of my kill meta capabilities. I came into that game with a clear and very specific goal to kill every inner council member, and I forced myself to hold true. Without the sort of required pressure added by the IC, I doubt I would make kills like that. I don't normally suppress my kill meta consciously, I tend to just let my teammate choose and only control kill when I think it's necessary.
  16. I finished The Dark Forest, I think I liked it better than the first one, even if the predictions did feel a bit more off, but I kinda accept that society behaves in ways I wouldn't expect in these books. The actual Dark Forest principle isn't something I agree with, but it fits very well within the series and is pretty thoughtful. I am currently reading Red Sister, and it is so very good just like every says I will need to put it in Treamayne's thing. It is written superbly, I love the prose and the characters and the magic. So great. I also finished up Grave Peril, I don't remember my first read through all that well, but I wasn't the biggest fan this time. Susan's character grated on me a lot compared to the first two and what I remember of the rest of the books. I really liked Justine in the first half of her screen time, then just actually kinda hated her. Glad to see Thomas and Michael though, they're characters I love and look forward to. Started the Blinding White. The Graphic Audio switched Voice Actors for two (apparently three but I haven't seen on yet) main characters who were perfectly casted, so it didn't get off to the best start, but I'm sure I'll enjoy it regardless. Also rereading A Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. Great book, I'm looking forward to the movie. I think I'll probably also reread the Hunger Games after I finish it. I want to read the next WoT book, but I'm not sure where I'm going to slot it in.
  17. Oh dear Wall post here I come. All questions will be answered, even if most of those questions were in the last two pages. Probably should collapse the quotes as you get to them, not taking the time to snip them as I am pulling a Kas rn. World Five, Ba'alzaman: has made a sick cosplay. Can't say I would check, but I was aware of their situation coming into this game. I also don't really do low infos, well, I'll follow along with a teammate's low-info, but don't like to do so myself. Like I think you say in a later post, I like control kills and if it was up to me, Araris or Aman or Stick would be dead right now. Or, now that I think about it, Aeoryi because you've shown an unwillingness to exe her, and she's rather unpredictably good sometimes. Honestly, SKs are best played either deep in the shadows or glowing with angelic light. Power-SKing is definitely the better way, but not everyone has the bandwidth. If you can't powerwolf, you should probably try to fly under the radar. Not anything I can do about that. Like several others here, reading time is fairly frequent, posting time isn’t, and even when it is, you guys talk too much. plz no Though on a serious note, towncores are fairly infrequent in PMless games here, mostly because they don't tend to be very fun for the villagers outside, let alone the elims. Yeah, football does use subs. I'll take Neil's word on it that soccer does too. I'll once again confirm the c3 rule, it works and it's true. Not really disappearing out of choice though. I'll get to that in a bit, but suffice it to say, if you want to talk to me before Sunday, 6ish MT tomorrow and around then is probably the time to do it. Busy day, had to help my grandparents with their new house, couldn't be on my phone. Otherwise, just a little busy with wrestling. I might respond to stuff for a little bit after this post, but then I'm sleeping for a few hours. Then I've got a bus ride that I could potentially be active on. After that, very sporadic primarily reading activity. Or, as some >.> might call it, lurking. Old. U =
  18. Bold mine. Aeoryi... I really don't like the chaos. Don't think it's an e!indication though. I can't be at all confident either way, but I'd probably be more willing to exe them than any other given person. Devo is Devo. She always feels pretty grey, if that makes any sense. I kinda think Devo is normally catchable by voting though. Sleep and school, mostly. I've been reading up but haven't had too much posting time.
  19. While neither of those points is incorrect, they're not really related. I mean, never say never, and pocketing isn't really an early game/c1 thing. Like, I've certainly tried to kill Kas c1 as an elim. Not sure it's worked due to teammates being less fearful of the Mecha(nalysis) Kaszilla. I'd actually strongly argue against that. For one, if Kas is still alive c5, then you'll know if he's E, because there will be a pinch-hitter in his spot. Plus, on elim teams in the past, people are reluctant to kill Kas because he gets close enough to the truth that they're worried people will just follow his logic to the correct target. That's actually why I prefer to kill Kas early. The Archer thingy?
  20. I just want to say, and to confirm those words for anyone doubting, Kas talks everywhere. He talks in docs, PMs, and the thread just from what I've seen, and I'm pretty sure, based off of a lot of comments over time, that he talks in many other places as well. Suffice it to say, Kas doesn't (well, can't for very long) put in enough effort when E to get those leaps, and they're very within his V!MO.
  21. Do you honestly think I believed that? Especially when my logic for doing so was "the Fey can't answer with a lie if you ask them thrice." I did appreciate the puns though, specifically Siri et al killer. Very creative. I figure it's pretty NAI, especially if it's related to the convention game. Though I do think it being a fake Convention game would be village leaning, but I doubt there's any way to prove that.
  22. Thanks for proving the point though. Very much highly encouraged, not technically required in most games run buy anyone other than Kas. I believe you, you said it thrice, and if you know anything about the fey, they can't lie if you ask them thrice. You're just a bit of an (un)Conventional Serial Killer.
  23. *sighs* I thought we were done with that? Aeoryi (Resolute) has a bit of a history of self-voting and semi-often dying for it. And yes, voting in red is the typical way that we vote. If you want to unvote, just put your original vote in Green. Bold is encouraged but bot necessary. Can't say I trust self-meta-reads, but that makes me a bit of a hypocrite, since I make them a lot. So, noted.
