  1. Interesting. I would say, for slower paced SE at least, this is the sort of thing more likely to be felt by elims (or new players of course), rather than villagers. Though I have felt that as both alignments.
  2. Edit: Do you think Drake would do that for the second game in a row? ^ not rhetorical btw, genuine want to know is you and/or others think that's within Drake's wheelhouse. No. Does it have anything to do with the concept of let(ing) it go? Generally not what lurking means but it's pretty true either way.
  3. I think an important part of my meta, which is certainly controlling, is that I don't really kill based on activity. I only kinda even kill based on threat levels. I have a sort of ethereal list of who I'm afraid of, that I start of the top of. You (Kas) aren't actually that high up until c3ish. People like Araris, Aman, Archer, or Mat are generally higher in the first few turns. People that aren't going to be sussed much (but still a little bit, cause nothing confuses villagers more than having their suspects die and be confirmed v), are pretty active, and have good elim finding rates. I feel that on early cycles, you're really high in the first two, but surprisingly low in the last one, which is also coincidentally when it matters the most in my opinion. Unrelated to the above. This mostly isn't relevant anymore, but can we not exe Aeoryi. I sympathize with not having a typical playstyle, and with switching said playstyle and being suspected for it. I also think that, from what little I know of Aeo, this is about as village as they get. And, in response to what was said while I was writing this post, that joke was kinda in bad taste. I don't feel it's my place to bring it up to an IM if/beyond Aeoryi doing, but that's my opinion.
  4. Waiting until someone can defend themselves to be waiting until we're all dead. If RBM didn't defend themselves when they had a chance (several people had mentioned suspicion at that point), then there's no reason for us to give them a second chance. I disagree here. EoD was way too volatile to kill anyone with votes on them. Kidpen feels pretty firmly like a placeholder kill to me. 1 I mean. That's what I do, but I understand your reluctantance. A decent chunk of my initial distrust was you not answering me when I asked why you unvoted there. Your reactions from then on have just kinda compounded. 2 Yeah, that's not true for me. If I'm on, I'm on. Many people can attest, my activity doesn't vary predictably with alignment. As for that last bit, I was checking in as much as I could while I was doing other things. 3 Kill it, kill it with fire. If I was e, one of you, Kas, or Aet would be dead rn.
  5. Noting for the future that I'm still willing to join this vote, I just felt Archer was the bigger concern atm.
  6. I forgot what this quote was from, will edit in the answer. Ah, I remember now. I think not pressuring someone because they're going to be gone is pretty poor reasoning (especially when he's suspecting me for uncontrollable timezone suspicions, inconsistent much, though I think that part is probably conf bias cause one is inherently much more valid than the other). And now he's given another inconsistent reasoning for it that isn't great either. I don't remember if Archer is a stab vote proponent, but if he is that's a very odd take. If he isn't, then it's just a little bit disappointing. This is triggering a lot of alarm bells right now. I'll address the most wth thing first but there's a couple others. Being around at EoD is inherently suspicious? Come on now, even if that did make any sense at all, which it doesn't, I implied I could be on before the game started. You say that means that I could have killed Kid, but so could anyone who left early just as easily, plus Kidpen isn't really in my kill meta. Overall, I get the feeling this is coming from a worried e!Archer when I pegged him not going after his teammate.
  7. It was to a slightly different question, but fair. I also don't like that response all that much tbh.
  8. Archer noted the backing away in pressure, but unvoted RBM in the same post. He didn't answer when I asked why.
  9. Didn't like their cowardice backing down under pressure early in the cycle, and I feel that Archer created an odd e/e connection that makes me sus both of them more. That's the best time for chaos!
  10. I would be willing to join on RBM. Otherwise, yeah, probably. Raven feels like a bad candidate if they're village due to lowish activity, and not particularly likely to be E.
  11. That's the goal. Well, my goal as an Elim is to act so similarly that you can't tell, which then makes me harder to read as village.
  12. @Aeoryi, noticed the quotes in spoilers. Quotes don't take up extra space as of the update, so you don't need to worry about it. If you have another reason, that's fine, but I figured I'd mention it.
  13. Good point, didn't mean it that way. Though freaking new guy as a saying does seem pretty applicable even to new villagers.
  14. I'd agree that suggesting that is firmly within my e!range, though I'm not sure I'd think of it. Generally a good idea I don't want to make Kas essentially immortal if he doesn't have the time or just doesn't want it. Kas tends to like soaking up the elim kill. I'll not that this is Weirdo's first game, so I'd probably put this down to FNG.
  15. I'm filing for improper use of trademark. Poke votes are a work of art (which you yourself mention) and therefore are under the domain of copyright. They were also in use long before you got your hands on it. Some would even say it's in the public domain at this point. I'd agree with this sentiment. Curious why you still unvoted here. RBM is on my radar. Rude. Here let's try again. You repeat after me: "The Unknown Ajah" Edit: I'd also like to bring up the topic of making @Kasimirthe Returned this turn. If you don't want to be alive forever, feel free to say "no, TUA, you're stupid and mean, and I just want the sweet abyss," but this feels like the best play here.
  16. Tech levels are very weird. Some people classify it as a type of Punk.
  17. Epic Fantasy: You could technically but this in Urban Fantasy, but it has a very Epic scope and everyone I checked put it in Epic.
  18. I just finished Seven Blades in Black by Sam Sykes. Oh. My. Goodness. It was so good. I knew it was going to be good, but I didn't fully appreciate it until a quarter of the way through. I was kinda only reading it off and on, but then I decided I liked the story too much to be as slow as I was. I read up to the two thirds mark today, then I finished it tonight. It was magnificent, and I am so sad my library doesn't have book two. Go read it. It will be worth it.
