Mid-Range Game 48: The Southern Wind

Without any real reasoning ya, if you had pointed out what was wrong it would have been better. -

What is the word for establishing suspicion without acting on it so you have a history of sussing someone as an excuse later? -

First of it was a ToS (Town of Salem) example and second of all, it was slightly village leaning, but you voted me? My vote on Matrim is 75% gut and 10% reasoning with the other 15% being based on tone. The reason was because of his hedgy (my use of tunnely was incorrect) was what put me off. Maybe they are village, but this has as much reason as most d1 votes if not more. -

Mid-Range Game 48: The Southern Wind
The Unknown Character replied to Straw's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Sorry, I was a little rushed, but I do have reasoning. The way Matrim said "I am pinged off by Liranil’s post. Hrm. Currently trying to figure out why" seemed off and slightly tunnely to me. And the way he dug into things and especially the tone of the posts when he was looking felt sus to me. So mostly gut with some reasoning. -
Long Game 73: The Forgotten Coup
The Unknown Character replied to Sart's topic in Sanderson Elimination
One time I drew a LoW, another (today) I completely forgot and didn't submit any action, I'm taking another map today, and I'm going to use both on consecutive nights. I don't have many suspicions, but I could maybe put together a list.- 1583 replies

Mid-Range Game 48: The Southern Wind
The Unknown Character replied to Straw's topic in Sanderson Elimination
This was in reply to this: Pointing out that in ToS 1-2 medium (doctors) are fairly common, it wasn't a contradiction, it was me pointing out that they've been in games where that happened. Getting some Matrim sus, I'll @Straw because I'm editing. -

You've played ToS, two meds are fairly common and essentially do just that. -

Yes, I do. I think we'll have a lot of messengers and a good few doctors. -

Let's do some analysis. Aviar Holder: You’ve been given one of the few Aviar on the ship. Your Aviar’s abilities allow you to avoid the first Trapper or Saboteur kill that targets you. Passive protection. I'd say 1-3, probably closer to 2. Biologist: While you were brought along to help with the life on the islands, your skills can be used to help figure out what’s happening on the ship. Each cycle you can target a player and see who they target. If someone targets an airship part, you do not see that. If you target a Saboteur who uses both a role ability and their kill, you see both targets. Fairly powerful, I'd say only 1 with a slight chance of 2. Bookkeeper: You are responsible for keeping logs of the ship’s crew. Each cycle, you may discover another player’s role. Role detection, fairly useful, I'd say 2 no elims 3 1 elim. Doctor: While you’re not actually very good at saving people, you can still access the Hospital. You can talk with the dying in the Hospital document. If the Hospital is sabotaged, you can still talk in it, but you will only have your fellow Doctors to speak with. Doctors are anonymous. I'd say 3 no elims, which I find pretty unlikely, 4 one elim. Messenger: You help take messages around the ship. You are able to create as many one-on-one PMs as you want. Probably 3 or 4, I doubt we'll have a messenger elim, unless the have a PM spider on their team. Security Officer: Your job is to deal with any possible trouble on the airship. Each cycle, you may choose one player and throw them in the Brig. That player will be both protected and roleblocked. You cannot throw the same person in the Brig two cycles in a row. I doubt this will be an elim and I doubt we'll have more than 1. Trapper: Like the Security Officer, your job is to prevent any trouble on the ship. However, you tend to take a more violent approach to removing threats on the ship. Once per game, you may kill another player. I'd say only one, and it's not an elim -
