"Well, that could be a good idea, but what about the inquisitor? She... well... she would probably make him suspicious of us. Either that, or he would be completely terrified." Ladashwy paused. "As a side note, why would he try to recruit people while in a church? Most people would go to a tavern, and those going to a church would be less likely to have enough skills to be able to guard a mine. I have a bad feeling about him." He seems... kind of fake. I don't know though. I have had a lot happen today, and I am much more paranoid right now than I have ever been before. That's probably it.

Zaria stopped as she heard a man called for soldier. She turned around to see the door smashed, and someone attacking the lady that she had tried to help. Surprisingly, Zaria found herself attuning Excitement. "Orb, could you try to find anyone to help this person up the rest of the way?" "Sure. What are you going to do?" "I'm going to help that lady who is being attacked not die." "Oh, cool." Zaria pulled out an aluminum knife, drank a vial of bendalloy, loaded her handgun, and charged forward.

"Okay, that should be easy enough." Once they were out of the church, Ladashwy went up to a man across the street. "Excuse me, but do you know where the Steel Inn is?" "Go down that street and turn left, after you pass the tavern. Keep going and you'll find it." The man said. "Thanks." Replied Ladashwy.

Ladashwy followed Eryn, thinking about possible reasons aluminum could keep the charge of hemalurgic spikes. Well, I know aluminum is alomanticly inert. Maybe that has something to do with it. "Do we know where this Steel Inn is? How do you suggest we act around Basil?"

Ladashwy looked at the priest. "What do you mean when you say the aluminum will keep the charge? Also, what do you mean by a charge." She pulled out her notebook and pen, eyes sparkling with excitement. "Oh, just so you know, the spike that is full spiked a thug." Well, that information would be important if he ever planned to use it. Probably.

Ladashwy relaxed after Eryn responded. Then tensed at the thing about Basil. I knew something was off about him. Nothing seemed to add up.

I knew I should have just said Ladashwy! Did I misread the situation? "Um, given? Unless it was a hallucination, which I doubt it was. I am not the most creative person." She felt curious, exhausted, confused, and nervous. Today had been the absolute weirdest day in her life.

"I'm Sage." She looked back at Eryn, hoping that was what she was supposed to say.

Unsure how to continue, Ladashwy looked to Eryn for help.

Ladashwy beamed at the compliment, but barely stoped herself from snickering after seeing the look Eryn gave Drae. She did not seem to be happy that he had pointed Ladashwy out, either. Should I tell her about how I feel about Basil? Maybe after this meeting. I wouldn't want him to overhear.

"Alright Orb, you heard her. Let's see if anyone is still alive." "I think I may see one over there." Zaria ran over, but the person was dead. Zaria attuned The Rhythm of the Lost. "So many dead. What could have happened?" "ZARIA! THIS ONE IS ALIVE!" Zaria ran over and found that Orb had found someone who was, indeed, alive. She ran to a wall, and used most of her stormlight to create a staircase leading out of the hole. She went back, and started to lift the person out of the hole.

Relieved, Ladashwy got up, and headed towards the door Eryn had indicated. She was excited. She might be able to learn quite a bit in there. "Thank you for allowing me to come with you."

Ladashwy groaned inwardly. She was in a relaxed position, eyes closed. Really? He HAD to tell the man that I was part of their group? Rusting iron on a hillside! Was this man dense, or did he just not care? When no one was looking, she drank a vial of tin to replenish her stores. Ladashwy got ready to flare her tin. She opened her eyes, and sat up. She watched as one of her companions got up to go find the priest.

Ladashwy heard the man's spiel, and frowned. Something felt off about him. She decided that she was probably just tense. Come on, what's going to happen? This is a church! It's not like anyone is going to get murdered. That would be stupid. I need to stop jumping at wraiths in the mist.

"No, I remembered that she could do that last week." "Yeah. I got a concussion from that last seizure." She shuddered "It was awful."

Zaria snorted. "I just need enough to go retrieve my spheres. The seizures don't tire me at all, and I slept not to long ago. I'll just take the stormlight." She paused. "Um, how exactly do we get stormlight? Neither of us remember. I have some ridiculous form of amnesia, that made both of us forget everything but each other, and both of our names. Orb remembers things occasionally, but hasn't remembered much about stormlight. I don't even know what WORLD I originated in." "Oh, I remembered that while you were having a seizure. We are both from a planet called Roshar. I'll tell you more later, but for now we should go see if we can help others." Zaria used the stormlight, and ran back into the fire. She quickly found her bag of spheres. After helping someone out, she fell down a hole. She noticed someone opening what looked like a locked room. She quickly ran over to the person. "HEY! DO YOU NEED HELP?"

Ladashwy sat in the pew behind her companions. She thought that that was probably why she was being ignored. When she heard about the private meeting she almost panicked, but then remembered that she was a tin-eye. Even if she was forgotten, she could still eavesdrop. She let out a sigh of relief.

Zaria attuned determination. " I am a Willshaper, and I can shape solid objects. Give me a few spheres, and I can help them. The seizure was a fluke."

She snorted and muttered "You don't even know what I am talking about." "I'm Ladashwy."

I wince. I, a criminal am going to work with the local LAW ENFORCEMENT!? "I'm okay with it, if I get paid."
