"Um, did we all just forget that there is a person staring at us from the doorway? It looks like she went into shock temporarily. Or something."

Ladashwy pointed at the assassin. "He is wearing a mask, and you grouped him with us." The masked assassin stirred, and sat up.

"Maskless ones? Um, I don't quite know how to respond to that. Is it an insult? Rust and Ruin, this is confusing."

Ladashwy noticed a woman enter the tavern, and watched as she noticed the inquisitor. "Hello, who are you?"

"Wait, do you mean Ruin, Preservation, and Harmony? That makes much more sense. Sorry if my questions bothered you."

Ledashwy blinked, and furiously scribbled in her notebook. "Ok, that first one was helpful, it makes this seem like another metallic art. Um, Who are Frau and Herr? I have never heard either name before."

"About once a month, but it is sometimes more. It is never less. She had one last week, so we thought she would be ok." Zaria groaned in her sleep.

Ladashwy started scribbling down notes, curious about the spike stealing powers. Then she jotted down some notes on some of the people mentioned (Ett and the Sovereign). "Um, would that spike steal allomantic or feruchemical abilities? Would it steal both? I am both a steel-runner and a tin-eye. I also want to know who Ett and the Sovereign are, and now that you mention it he did look older. I guess I was to confused about everything that happened to notice." Ladashwy looked at the person who had saved her life. "Thank you for attacking the assassin with that cane of yours. If you hadn't, I probably would have died."

"Really? It is kind of obvious that you know something. Shouldn't I know? I was almost killed with the stupid spike, and I am very confused. I mean, why use the spike? He had a knife. He obviously knew what he was doing. Please tell me."

Ladashwy snickered. "I don't think he is a threat anymore. Also, do you know what is the spike for, and why he is intent on killing me with it?"

"Hey!" He lunges at her.

For the first time, the assassin realizes that there is an inquisitor. He froze with shock. "What?" His left arm got impaled, and so did his left leg.

Assassin guy was planning for this possibility, so he simply pulls the bullet toward the metal plate on his chest. "He had a knife? Why does he want to kill me with a spike?!"

The man grunts, then starts burning iron. He pulls a chair toward himself. However, you are (currently) in the way.

"You will regret that." He attacks. (with a knife at his side) "What do I do?! I don't know how to fight! AGGHH!!!"

The masked man enters the room. " If any of you interfere, I will kill you. Leave me alone, and I will leave you alone. I only want the Terris girl for now."

"Stormlight won't help the seizures, although I think it already healed her arm. We will just have to wait for a few minutes."

"Hey, I have an idea! Why don't we all calm down and..." At that moment, Ladashwy's tin enhanced senses noticed something. The masked assassin was about to enter the room, and he had a silvery spike in one hand. Ladashwy's face paled. "Oh no. He is here again to kill me."

Ladashwy jumped. The metal sphere HAD come from her direction, and it was possible the inquisitor (the lady said her name was Marie?) might think it was her. "It was not me. I can not steel push." She began burning tin. If anyone here was a seeker, they would be able to verify that.

Ladashwy heard a loud crash, and saw an inquisitor fall onto the floor. Am I hallucinating, or is that an inquisitor?

Ladashwy warily walked into The Iron Wheel and sat down. She was exhausted. The masked assassin had tried to kill her 16 times in the last week, and each time he had tried to stab her with a silvery metal spike. The assassin wouldn't try to attack her in a crowded tavern, would he? She decided to start storing speed in her steel mind.

"Zaria wanted adventure. She was getting really anxious, because nothing was happening. She felt like she would die without doing anything. Her sister told her about the nightwatcher, so we left."
