  1. ... Why do you care if I defend myself if I am questioned? No one wants to lose the game, and I am just as likely to defend myself as an eliminator, as I am a village. Defending yourself is normal, right? I don't want you to kill me, and that wouldn't change with my alignment. And this is my first game, so I want to get as far as possible without getting voted off. (Yes, I do realize that I am doing what made you suspicious In the first place, but I don't really care.) Also, the time and thought you put into that post is impressive. I would have just gotten too lazy to finish it and only done about half of that. I applaud you for your determination.
  2. Arelea hadn't been able to help. She had only one skill that was useful in this situation: running away. That wasn't helpful for her companions, so she had just stood still, watching in horror. She felt utterly useless. She sighed, and sat down on the stairs with a deflated, slightly depressed look on her face. She would be the weird radiant, the one that stuck out and was useless in battle.
  3. She grinned. "Well... I may have had some ulterior motives. There was a specific organization that I wanted to attract the attention of, and I thought that my sudden rise in notoriety among the criminal elite might just do that, as well as the fact that I kept my identity well hidden. I thought I could make them curious. Unfortunately, it didn't work fast enough. They are on Scadrial, and I am here."
  4. Arelea stood frozen with shock and fear. She shook herself out of it. "I d-definitely h-h-heard that. What i-if he i-is in the b-basement?!"
  5. "I h-have a feeling t-that w-we are m-missing an i-i-important piece of i-information, or o-overlooked something we shouldn't h-have. I d-don't know w-why, but I d-do."
  6. I just noticed your post, and yes I did use my map. ... Why?
  7. Seraphina was once again wishing she could just go back to her room and get her book. She tensed slightly everytime a man walked past. She glumly ate a piece of cheese. Note to self: bring more reading material next time. Maybe one of the Rainlight archive books. Those take forever to read. And I am always happy to re-read the series. Or maybe a classic instead. I've been wanting to re-read 'the odd case of Dr. Jerry and Mr. High' for a while.
  8. Oh. That was purely for the RP. I love making my characters stay in character. It brings me joy. I had to RP something, and it just felt right. I'm not actually that worried about getting voted out.
  9. This post isn't dependent on my role. I'd post it no matter what role I was given. First of the Stars was sitting on a bench, tensed. She was a Trapper, so she would be ready for an attack no matter what happened. Tili, her green and blue Aviar, was perched on her shoulder. Most people thought that Tili wasn't actually a species of Aviar, but First knew he was. She was able to stay calm in any situation when Tili was near. She felt calm even when she couldn't see him and he was close. She looked around the mess hall at the other people there, and knew that there were traitors on board. Well, she would just have to do something about that, wouldn't she. Tili's calming presence made her decision purely logical, and she knew it was the only way that made sense. I might not be able to get on again today. Sorry if that happens. I don't know enough to feel like I should vote, so I won't this round.
  10. "But wouldn't that be the fun part? Wouldn't rebuilding my empire, strengthening it, and making it more successful than the last be the most satisfying part?" She grinned. "Besides, I don't 'hide away with my money', I use it. Without that money, I would have never been able to learn about the existence of multiple worlds, perpendicularities, or the South Scadrians. I would have never been able to find out about the machine that transported me here. I would have never been able to attend university, and gotten my degree in psychology."
  11. Ladashwy walked over to her door and opened it. "Come on in. We can talk about it in here if you want. But yes. I do understand." She grimaced. "Last month, I was living in the Terris Village. Then an assassin came after me, and now I feel like I don't have any control over what's happening anymore. I can't plan for things, I have to expect the unexpected, I have to be ready for anything and everything." She sighed. "Today I cracked. My brain hurt. I couldn't handle the sudden influx of information. And then it happened. I decided to go to a room at the back of that tavern, remember? What I didn't know about it was that the Survivor was in that room. I walked in, and I quickly passed out." She sighed. "Fast forward a bit, and I had remembered that I had a spike in my bag from before I left the Village. It was one of the ones that the assassin had tried to kill me with. I ran back to try to help, and after I did, I went into shock. Not long after, we were all talking when I suddenly had a panic attack. Everyone tried to help me with it, and that helped." She shook her head. "I can guarantee that I will have many more problems like this in the future. They aren't usually one-time things. Each time, I got overwhelmed with what was going on." She walked into her room. "Everything became too much too handle, so my brain shut down. I freaked out, and I felt like a failure afterward. I felt like I wasn't good enough. That if I had been good enough, I wouldn't have reacted the way I had. That I would have been stronger. That I would have been able to handle everything." She sat down sadly on her bed. "I feel that way a little bit still. I have since I was a child. I'm not important. I'm not needed. No one cares about me." She sighed. "I know it isn't true, but I often have a hard time believing that it isn't, you know?"
  12. Ladashwy was back in her room, compiling all of the amazing things she had learned ino a notebook.
  13. She rolled her eyes. "I don't need this idiotic lecture on morals, or whatever this is. I stopped caring about 5 years ago." He is obviously both unsuccessful, and an idiot.
  14. She looked at him sceptically. "I don't know about where you are from, but in Elendel, money is how you gain power, prominence, and, possiblity most important, access to aluminum."
  15. Grace was panicking. People all around her we're dying, and she could be next. What if they vote to kill me today? I can't die yet! I'm not ready to die!"
  16. She raised her eyebrow. "And how much money have you earned from your self built criminal empire?" She sounded amused. "I'm 13, and I created a huge smuggling operation. I have made millions of boxing's in the 2 years since my operation was first created. How successful were you with your criminal empire when you were 11? How about when you were 12 or 13?"
  17. She smiled. He underestimates me because of my age. Good. I mean, he might be much less intelligent than I am, and have had no successes in the criminal underground, but it's still nice. "And how large is your smuggling empire?" She muttered under her breath. She herself had created a large smuggling operation, and had made millions of boxings. No one ever suspected her because of her age. Not even her brother knew.
  18. She snorted. "I have a professional degree in psychology. Once I'm done with people, they are usually thoroughly messed with." She grinned.
  19. She grinned. "Oh, how I love messing with people's minds."
  20. "I'm what is called a Leecher. I can burn chromium, and drain anyone I touch's investure. I didn't know if it would work here, so I had to try it out." She smiled. "I think I was successful, don't you? Don't worry. As long as we are on the same side I won't Leech you without permission."
  21. Cilliss grinned, and uncorked one of her vials, drinking it with one quick gulp. She walked over to him, touched him, and burned her chromium. He immediately shifted back. He looked different. She smirked. "It seems like my allomancy still works." She stopped burning her chromium, and stepped back.
  22. "Who's Ene?" Ladashwy had been silently taking notes until then.
  23. "Ha! Magic, or as it is called on my world, investure, is often explainable by science." "Exactly!" The glint in her eyes intensified. "Would you mind if I tried something while you're in that form?"
  24. "Supernatural abilities of any kind."
